WoW Moviewatch: Operation Gnomeregan {WoW}

Oct 19th 2010 10:19PM Completely agree. I hated this video mostly because I was expecting it to be a cute little film of the Gnomer event so that those that did it could remember it fondly and that those that didn't could see what it was like. This..... Wasn't anything like that. I suppose the video was okay, but it wasn't anything like I thought it would be so I like it less than I could. If that makes sense...

Also, WTB less auto-tune. The maker makes a comment that her voice is too husky to sing electronica, but I don't think that's a good excuse. Just because the majority of mainstream singers don't have husky voices doesn't mean that our brains will explode if we hear a husky voice in a genre that it usually isn't found in. And if you really hated the way your voice sounded when you sang this, find someone with a voice you think is more appropriate and have them sing it! Instead, the singer's voice sound whiney and metallic which I don't think helped this song at all.

WoW Moviewatch: Moments in Life {WoW}

Sep 21st 2010 12:25PM ......So did you run out of videos to review or something? Because this one is just terrible.

I respect that the maker must not have as much experience at making WoW videos, but that doesn't excuse the complete lack of plot, and the really crappy ending. It just didn't make any sense! Plus, more than the animation being jumpy, I was really bothered by how the characters kept changing in size. It was just distracting.

All in all, I think the maker of this film has actually been done a disservice by being showcased on such a popular website such as this one. With Gray making the video sound like it may be something decent, coupled with my own expectations that videos that appear here *should* be decent, this video was a complete let down. And, feeling let down, I don't want to see any more of this maker's work or want to watch anything that Gray recommends.

Know Your Lore: The Council of Tirisfal and the last Guardian, page 2 {WoW}

Sep 19th 2010 4:30PM And then the comics created a Gary-Stu to be the replacement Medivh because.... Actually, I don't know why they did it. All I know is that it makes me weep.

The Queue: It belongs in a museum {WoW}

Sep 13th 2010 12:45AM Where do I get the music that plays while you're retaking Gnomer!? It's just so peppy and cute that I must add it to my 'Happy Music' playlist.

Cataclysm Beta: New character introductions for all races {WoW}

Aug 31st 2010 12:13PM I am so depressed that Magni is going to die. Whenever the Horde attacked our cities in order to kill our leaders, Magni was the only one that I always went to defend, because he is that awesome.

I am looking forward to seeing Moira no longer preggers and out in public again. I doubt that she's looking forward to seeing me since I murdered her husband so many times. (And murdered her plenty too since I found her annoying)

WoW Moviewatch: Boom De Yada WoW {WoW}

May 13th 2010 4:55PM I can only hope that there is a 'Welcome to the Deadmines' Timer too because that is also one of my favorite machinimas of all time.

Breakfast Topic: Mine, all mine {WoW}

Apr 29th 2010 9:19AM Yup. No selling them to vendors, you can only trade them to other players that have GHI, and nothing counts towards achievements. The addon is purely for fun.

Breakfast Topic: Mine, all mine {WoW}

Apr 29th 2010 9:03AM Oh I love GHI! My favorite item is my "Infinite Teapot" that a guildie gave me. It doesn't make any sounds or anything, but it does auto-broadcast random RP tells in chat. I also have a comb that, when you click it, screams "ELECTRIC JUSTICE!" and says that it shocks the player with a 5 minute debuff. I love copying and handing out that one.

It came from the Blog: The running of the orphans {WoW}

Apr 27th 2010 3:30PM Yay. Sounds like fun. Gotta go roll a character on Zangermarsh now.

The Queue: In which Amy Pond is profiled {WoW}

Apr 22nd 2010 2:13PM Actually, Karen Gillan (the woman who plays Amy Pond) is a natural red-head. For people who are natural red heads there are three camps. There are the red heads that have red eyebrows and look normal. There are the redheads who darken their eyebrows because, if they don't, the red hair (which is also typically very fine) blends into your skin tone so that it looks like you don't have any eyebrows (my aunt does this for this reason). Lastly, there are the red heads that have fiery red hair but, for whatever reason, have darker eyebrows naturally. My mother falls into that last camp. Her hair is as red as Karen Gillan's but her eyebrows are actually so dark brown they look black.
