Nov 12th 2010 8:08AM Family guild, almost all of us are married, most have kids. We swap dinner recipes, Good food is most definitely a quality of life raiser. Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas is my fav.
Nov 7th 2010 6:57PM Aragorn healing? Frodo had a debuff for days, and never got buffed up to full health til he got to an inn? That's a long time to be oom. Aragorn isn't who I'm looking for to heal my first cata dungeon. I don't care how awesome his bandages are.
Nov 1st 2010 11:35AM Bay of Pigs was just a setback!
Nov 1st 2010 6:24AM Blizz blues have said in the past, that more complex dps rotations would reward higher dps than simpler specs. I had hoped with the complexity of Holy's new line up to go the same way. It fits with their philosophy. Simpler mechanics, Simpler healing = Less heals. Tricky heals = mo' healin'.
I'm a mana junkie, playing holy is fun, but not enough fun to have to drink at the end of a trash pull. Is it possible, that there is a missing talent... something like like add " x % of your spirit now also gives you spellpower " tack that on to Holy Concentration. That would make sense then. Spirit = Int for holy. Screws up dual spec, you'd have to keep 2 sets of gear, but I'd give it a go, lower mana regen, Huge spells, with no crit. Choose your heals wisely. It's deep enough in the tree to keep it Holy only.
Oct 20th 2010 7:49PM Hooray! So now we're doing the same damage as casters right?!
ok.. nvm.. back to my priest...
Oct 19th 2010 8:43AM Banasaves the Patient
I 'm a healer. You can't beat this. in fact...
You can't touch this.
Oct 5th 2010 4:51PM (This whole response shall be in ( ) because it hardly matters until you get to the nth eschelon of geek... but... if you stack haste beyond the point of 1 sec cooldown, the spell still lands faster, you just can't cast anymore until the GCD comes up again. DPS, meh. Healer... might make a difference... if you don't think so you might want to roll something other than dps for a change. If you do understand the difference, you probably can use semicolons in a sentence on your English finals in college. If not, I fully expect you to be distracted by puppies.)
Sep 21st 2010 10:39AM Patch 5.01
With the success of only leveling 5 levels in an expansion, the new coolness contains only Level 86.
Jaina and Thrall team up as the Liberal Left faction against the hardline right of their own factions, splitting all old ties resulting in split factions. This means Ally vs Ally PVP, and Horde vs Horde PVP. Chosen like Aldor/Scryer. This does away with the current horde/alli imbalance on some servers, and creates it on some that previously had no problems. All major cities are now faction-PVP battle grounds.
With the guild leveling of the last expansion resulting in few small guilds, new options are created to reward small progressive guilds.
Engineers and blacksmiths learn to make siege weapons, but the grind required is only possible by large guilds.
New stealth raid options where a 5man stealth dungeon is a required mini dungeon each week before the Raid to position the raid in key places for ambushes, sneaking inside the evil lair, unlocking the gate, destroying munitions, poisoning the guard, burning down the barracks or leaving a jury duty notice on the bosses kitchen table so he's not actually there when you go storming in. Not doing these results in a longer overall raid due to more trash pulls, but other than that, small 10man dungeons make sense in as a serires of raids vs 25man and 40 man content makes a return to the scene with the aid of the RaidFinder.
Return of epic class specific quests:
Hunters can now tame a herd of critters as a pet, and briefly on the beta, Druids. Bears and Kitty's love this because of Beastial Wrath, no one plays a boomkin for the first 6 months. Then 5.02 comes out and boomkins are the OP for 2 months.
Druids learn a new form. It's so much awesomeness, I'm actually required by a future NDA to not tell you about it.
Warlocks can, through raiding, get a new demon. They get only 1, but they have a choice. See above.
Mages can now Study magic, stealing spells from the spell books of their opponents. Mages can also tank now, concentrating on defensive magic shields. Which irks all disc priests, but hey the shields were too cool for any one class to have, and bliz loves to spread the love.
40 man raids are now lead by the raid leader, who's class no longer matters, they can use none of their own class abilities, and must only lead the raid. They can micromanage any certain aspect (dps, heals, tanking) and boost any output of that aspect. Raid leaders are now highly sought after, and have their own loot tables, and must level their raid leading skills from dungeons, unlocking new abilities as they go, and specializing in one of the aspects.
It is discovered that more people play wow, than actually vote, and heavy campaigning results. Blizz strikes back by releasing new content on voting day, and turnout is the lowest in history, even the history before the internets.
And lastly when the new evil threatens all of Azeroth, Nat Pagle answers the call of duty.
Mar 27th 2010 12:41AM Cheese and Berserkers? This is a conspiracy. Obviously a connection with SI:7. I believe Elling Trias must have something to say about this, but if you ask him, he may kill you.
