Sep 9th 2009 5:39PM Would be a good list...if you got rid of Richard Knaak. Seriously, just read the Wowwiki articles on his books. They're shorter and better written.
Sep 8th 2009 10:34PM Once as a joke I staff-meleed an AFK horde to death at the UK stone while waiting for someone else to summon. There should be an achievement for that...
: Kill an enemy player worth honor using only auto-attacks.
Heroic: Do it with a staff, while resto specced
Aug 11th 2009 10:39PM I think the whole Armor class thing would make more sense if they hadn't made Mail. It just makes the whole thing a mess. It should go:
Mages, Warlocks, Priests, Resto/Balance druids: Cloth (The last two do it now anyway, just formalize it)
Feral Druids(talented), Rogues, Hunters: Leather
Shamans, Paladins, Warriors, DKs: Plate (Or it whatever they want to call it)
Then we wouldn't have half the problems we have today.

Aug 7th 2009 8:51AM I don't think Bolvar can be ressed, he got hit with the Forsaken's "New Plague" which is intended specifically to kill scourge.
Personally I think what we really need is some new lore for the Forsaken and Death Knights. What reason to exist do they have after the Lich King is dead? What I'd really like to see is this:
Patch 3.3: The Final Trial of the Crusader:
*Argent Crusader hunting party rides into arena with big cage*
Herald: "We've captured the most fearsome beast in all of Northrend to test our Champion's! We give you The Spider King Anub'Arak!"
Tirion: "Wait a minute...we already had them kill Anub'Arak weeks ago!"
Herald: "But...we have him, right here..."
(Daily quest Mage from Dalaran walks in)
DQM: "Actually, I sent a few adventurers to kill him months ago, that's odd"
(Night Elf from Star's Rest): "Actually, I heard from a gang of adventurers that they'd killed Anub'Arak, wow that's almost a year ago...it was before the Wrath Gate definitely"
Tirion: "Well hang on, that's 4 Anub'Arak-s, what in the name of the Light is going on here?"
*Actual Anub'Arak (Preferably carrying Arthas on his back) jumps up through a tunnel in the floor of the Tournament Grounds, followed by an army of Undead Nerubians*
Anub'Arak/Arthas: "You really thought I would be beaten that easily? That you could just sit here and play games while I patiently waited for you to come and kill me? That I was just sitting there, quaking in terror of your might? Face the undead might of Nerub!"
Cue underground zone, Sundered Monolith faction of free Nerubians, and random Nerubians launching tunnel assaults against every zone in the game
Aug 7th 2009 8:21AM Some of these street people I've run into though...I get the feeling selling drugs and mugging women is about the same to them as hunting deer and downing bosses is to me sometimes.
Aug 4th 2009 3:05AM My problem with the Emblem of Conquest change isn't that it makes gear too easy to get, it's that it makes it a pure grind. You can run UK or Nexus 100 times and get the same stuff someone who ran Ulduar gets. So the stakes are raised. I can no longer just raid and grind some mats. Now it's my responsibility to go grind the hell out of heroics so I can gear up.

Any time I need to do anything, I get my workout mix which is that song burned 19 times onto the same CD. And then Freebird to finish it off.
Jul 18th 2009 10:08AM Lore wise, while I can't see the Goblins going Alliance, it doesn't make any sense at all for the Alliance to accept Worgen into their ranks. They rejected the Forsaken, who were also transformed humans, and who at the time had a common goal (the fall of the Lich King, presumably accomplished by the time the worgen would be looking to join). What would bring the Worgen into the fold that kept the Forsaken out?
Jul 15th 2009 3:21PM I've always liked Maiev, partly for all the reasons stated above. Partly because I like Night Elves and especially druids, but I despise the way some of the lore (Especially the War of the Ancients trilogy) whitewashed them into these tolerant nature hippies, removing a lot of the nasty racism and such. Only the designated evil, incompetent, or ignorant characters can be racist, never our stalwart heroes. Plus if the Earthen and Furlbogs and Tauren helped the Kaldorei beat the Legion then shouldn't they have had a closer relationship in the intervening ten thousand years? That's why I tend to pretend that series never happened and go off the old lore.
Also Maiev just looks awesome. I wish that armour was available in this game
