I can understand how it is easier for Alliance to get the "no walls breached" achievement since they can force the horde to play the entire 10 minutes of defense, but could someone pelase explain how one side can have a "shorter battleground"?

More campers reduces the egg drop rate for runners.

Runners are playing competitively while campers are playing cooperatively.

The best possible drop rate occurs when all spots are camped.

Players will take the most efficient route to a goal.

Stop complaining, grab a bunch of friends and camp the hell out of Easter.

Then get on with the real fun of hearing someone in vent ask the guild leader "Are you really going to tank with those bunny ears on" because you secretly hit him with the wand when no one was looking.

Apr 19th 2009 10:25AM What idiot thought tying a T8 boss to the same raid timer as a T7 boss was a good plan?

I over-gear Archavon for tanking him, but I have nowhere near enough gear to even OT Emalon. Now I can't do either fight because I need to be able to tank the boss I can't get gear for.

So now I can stand around in WG watching people BEG for tanks for Vault knowing that they all want tanks for the new boss even though most of the pugs trying the new boss will fail and disband before trying the boss they can kill.

Feb 15th 2009 4:21PM This has been a very frustrating and annoying event.

Getting screwed by not having an empty bag slot when most quests will not proceed if your pack is full is poor design.

Encouraging people to log in every hour for days is foolish. Surely if they wanted some people to be unable to complete the event, they could have made it a once a day thing to avoid pushing people towards obsessive play. Reward people for effort. Fine. Rewarding people for not having real life commitments is not how I would have handled it.

Making the "City gifts" based on race rather than location is counter-intuitive. Why name them after cities if the city has nothing to do with how to get the gift?

Shadow Priests beaten to death in the Wrath beta {WoW}

Sep 11th 2008 6:47PM I don't even play a shadow priest and this makes me angry. You can't compete in pve for DPS spots, your mana battery role will be filled by two other classes and I can't see anything new to help you in pvp. Is shadow now the RP spec? Because you still have lots of rich RP flavour. (Bitter is a flavour, right?)

Jul 18th 2008 3:50PM Also, I forgot to mention, but I am unimpressed with the idea of having to spend talent points to make enhancement itemization viable for enhancement. Lazy solutions to giving us hunter gear are lazy.

The new Spectral Transformation talent makes half the effect of Toughness virtually redundant assuming you have instant ghost wolf. Except the cost of going ghost wolf is being increased, so I suppose we will not want to use instant ghost wolf as often.

I suppose they are pushing to make enhancement less of a melee class and more of a melee/caster class. Could work out with the changes to +hit and +crit, but I would have preferred more melee talents rather than increased reliance on spell casting. We have little +spell damage, no pushback protection and will still need to be meleeing people to get the reduced cast time from Maelstrom Weapon. Meanwhile DKs (possibly paladins as well?) will be getting their spell damage boosted by their melee stats. So again, we need to spend talent points to get something we will need to be competitive.

I hate feeling all "doom and gloom" about what I have seen, but DKs look better and better the more I see about upcoming shaman changes.
