May 17th 2011 11:35PM I don't think this could even come close to my Logitech G11. How can it's 5 programmable buttons compete with my 18 programmable buttons? Modifier keys sound fine, but I can do the same thing by converting one(of 3) banks of buttons to do the same thing. It has some nice features, but lack of programmable buttons is what kills every other gaming keyboard I have seen.
Jul 18th 2010 7:41PM Send would be used present tense to indicate it being an ongoing action. It sent when you tested it, it would still send now because you have not yet broken it, and it will continue to send because you threaten everyone around you with death if they cause it to stop sending to the correct recipient
Think about these sentences.. I run. I swim. Even if I am not running or swimming right now, I do on an ongoing basis.
Jul 1st 2010 12:54AM Will not happen. Blizzard keeps saying they want race to be identifiable by silhouette.
Apr 15th 2010 8:27PM I use both SGL and Forte on my Shadow Priest! I would suggest PowerAuraClassic as a third leg to this stool.
PAC to tell me what is NOT on my target and what CDs are ready, SGL to track the strength of my Pain, and Forte to let me know when stuff is going to fall off. This makes for tight rotations and quick decisions when targeting a new mob.
Mar 18th 2010 1:32AM If you are NOT the ranged tank and you end up with a Dark Nuclei on you(VE agro can be enough to grab them, especially if you have it improved) you can take it over to the ranged tank and fade to drop it, or just fade to drop it if you cannot get to him(aka, someone else's problem now).
Mar 12th 2010 9:52PM This even has the same horned skull that adorns much of Arthas' gear. When I asked about what creature it was to The Queue a while back they sugested that it was a creature from the Neather, since it is the Nathrezim are who crafted it. (I have since thought about this more and I think the skulls are those of Dreadsteed, the racial mount of the Nathrezim)
Was this sword reforged by Arthas to bear this symbol(because I could not see the Silver Hand putting demon horses on their swords), in wich case he should have reatached the hilt a little more securely, or did Blizzard say, "Damn lore, let's give pallys something to make them feel like they are swinging Frostmourn!"
Mar 11th 2010 2:03AM I took notice to, and really thought it was a great point, that you started every strat with "Stay Alive".
Today we spent the raid day wiping to Sindragosa, who we have downed in the past but had trouble this week. It was not an enrage timer, or not enough DPS that was the problem(and if it is your raid's problem then you need to evaluate if that is the right place for you to be), but people that could not deal with the Ice Tombs.
Way too many people that think that the raid is there to watch out for them, rather than them watching out for the raid.
Feb 4th 2010 2:38AM I use a similar macro for both MF and MS, though slightly different
#showtooltip Mind Flay
/cast [stance:1,harm, nochanneling:Mind Flay] Mind Flay; [nostance,harm] Shadowform
prevents casting if already casting MF, and puts u in shadowform if u r not already.
#showtooltip Mind Sear
/cast [stance:1,harm, nochanneling] Mind Sear; [nostance,harm] Shadowform
Similar to the MF macro, but MF only checks for it's self, this checks for any channeled spell. This means that I can MS till all but my target is dead and then go right into MF spam.
Jan 30th 2010 9:28PM There are a few parts of Vuhdo's config I can see it being useful, primarily in the radio buttons that let u choose what part of the frame things appear in, but otherwise I agree. A simple tree view navigation would be better than the 2 sets of tabs(one set for main areas, and another for sub areas...also odd that they are along the bottom and right sides as opposed to the top and left as most people are used to) that Vuhdo uses to navigate around it's options, this is the only program that I have ever seen this style of navigating options.
Wonder if this has any impact on module performance?
Jan 30th 2010 9:16PM yes to all of these things. I have found the look of Vuhdo easier for responding to things than Grid in fact. While Grid tends to focus on the colored blocks rather than the icons(I know you can get icon addons, but not all status addons support icon indicators), Vuhdo focus more on the icons from the start, along with borders and block colors, and theses icons zoom when they are created(I think there is an option to turn this on and off) so they are quite eyecatching.
For selecting a target on click you can either have the click you want to use set to target(just put"target" in the action box), or you can set it so that it automatically targets on spell cast(does not work with macros, only actions and spells, though you could add /tar [@mouseover] to your mouseover macros).
