Dec 19th 2010 2:10PM That's a good theory although I don't buy that Sylvanas planned the coup. Here's how it is going to go down:
Thrall is gonna show up and hit Sylvanas with an EMP pulse from an ancient Titan artifact that will make her all good and happy again. Then Sylvarrigan will lead the now happy go lucky Zergsaken against Deathwing.
Wait... Blizz would never recycle storylines like that. I mean its not like they're going to make the hero that volunteered to control Diab... um The Scourge jam a soulsto... um... I mean helmet in... on his head corrupted... and ... uh... Nevermind.

Your "ridiculously easy" is more like "barely obtainable" for some small guilds. Now the "pretty easy" is more like "freaking impossible". For smaller friends/family guilds it can be a challenge to even get 4 or 5 people to get together to do a guild run of an instance.
I'm foreseeing the guild I'm in completely stall at level 3 or 4 now because once we're done leveling to 85 there will be no way to gain more guild experience (or guild rep) at any reasonable rate.
In the last couple of years we have partnered with a few other like guilds so that the people who wanted to could raid. Unfortunately I see this wiping out guild partnering as everyone is much better off just merging them all together.
I think there is only one simple fix and that is for Blizzard to make it so the guild experience needed to level is determined by the number of accounts in the guild. This will achieve two things:
1. All guilds will have the same opportunity to level at the same pace depending on how active their membership is.
2. It will give an incentive to the larger guilds to weed out and streamline their membership.
I say accounts tied to guild as not to harm altoholics. Guilds with 5 RL People with 10 characters each should not be held to the same standards as guilds with 50 RL people in them.

Dec 6th 2010 7:24PM So can you get around the group requirements? I mean I am in a guild with just two of my friends. We each have multiple alts around 80. Would the following be possible.
1. Person 1 starts a group and invites the other 2.
2. Person 2 logs out. But the character stays in the party.
3. Person 2 logs back in on a different toon and joins the party. Bringing the total to 4 guild toons in the group.
Would that qualify as a guild group for a 5 man?
Oct 26th 2009 7:46PM I completely agree.
There was no RTS that could beat Warcraft II until.... Starcraft.
There was no RTS that could beat Starcraft until Warcraft III and thats debatable.
There was no ARPG that could beat Diablo until.... Diablo II.
And IMO nothing (and I've tried them all) can beat Diablo II until.... (hopefully) Diablo III.
Diablo II was my default game until I started WoW. I played it almost exclusively to all other games for about 6 years. I took breaks for a game here and there, an FF or Bioware game would come out and I'd drop DII for a month or two but then I'd come right back. If Blizzard would have kept making expansions I probably never would have left.
WoW is now my default game. I'll take breaks and play other games from time to time. Dragon Age and Torchlight will be my next two breaks. As soon as I get tired of themone it will be back to WoW until the next game distracts me for a month or two.
I think there are only 2 things that can kill WoW.
1. Blizzard stops making expansions.
2. Blizzard comes out with something better.
Although I believe that 2nd one will be extremely hard to do.
Feb 25th 2009 10:42AM I think this might be part of the reason it takes all your mana. So people can't manipulate it to do things like this.
I'm sure Blizz will try to put something in though so people cannot flip specs when buffing the raid.
Feb 1st 2009 8:47PM Tauren/Draeni Rogues don't seem any more ridiculous to me than Gnome DK/Warriors.
Feb 1st 2009 7:53PM Together their power level is over 9000!!!!!!!!
Jan 26th 2009 11:42PM I finally saw someone in my favorite leather farming spot today. First time since Wrath released I've seen someone else there.
It's got decently good leather drops and good chance of icy dragonscales. makes me sad people are finally discovering it.
I won't say where it is but here's a hint. It is EXTREMELY close to Dalaran.
Can be there within two minutes of leaving Dalaran. Can kill level 79-80 mobs and walk out with probably a full stack of Heavy BL and 15-20 icy dragonscales.
It really only has enough mobs for 1 person to farm at a time so I'm sad whenever I see someone else there.
