Oct 10th 2011 8:32AM Guns on my dwarf hunter are the only reason that I've played the game this long. There is something about the animation and sound that just makes grinds less grindy to me. I don't use a xbow or bow unless there are no gun alternatives (or the alternatives require annoying amounts of pvp. read:more than one BG). When I do have to use a bow or xbow, I lose interest in playing my hunter outside of raiding to get a new gun.
I plan to collect all gun models (I already have like 22/53 available models) when 4.3 hits and never have to use a bow again. :)
Dec 23rd 2010 8:35AM I agree. Except, a large number of those dumb puggers that won't learn or change, will get frustrated and not queue as often. This should allow a higher percentage of smarter players. I believe that eventually this will trickle down to some of the people who gave up and produce more decent players.
Heroics are excellent. They are a great way to teach a casual player what being in a raid is like. "Interrupt this or we die." "Don't stand in the fire." "When you see dust coming up under you move, or die."
I think the problem is too many people aren't spending much time in regular dungeons. I know it may be a bit much, but I wish Blizzard would require you to complete the dungeon once on normal before doing it on heroic.
Nov 30th 2010 8:59AM Thank you for that comment. This makes much more sense why everyone finds this so easy, but I don't have enough time to set up a defense. Plants vs Zombies player FTL.
May 18th 2010 11:41AM OMG, did Frostheim quote a Ludo song? That was awesome!
Apr 21st 2010 3:15PM Usually when I need an escape, I have to do something else. WoW will probably be my most loved MMO forever, but right now, I'm enjoying a headfirst dive into Lord of the Rings Online.
Apr 21st 2010 3:12PM Who are you to say how to play the game? I know that the raiding group that I raid with had about 4-5 teams last year and only a couple even pvp. Thats about 15 people that I know that just did this for the pet. I guess when I'm in the mood to look like I pvp, I'll bring out Murkimus and think of this post. ;)
Apr 20th 2010 3:33PM According to Zeherah's DPS website, my survival hunter would get better dps from either using 2x 26 agility on one handers or 2x 30 intellect enchant on my one handers. (Obviously the latter has more to do with the use of viper on the spreadsheet, but I still thought I'd mention it.)

Dec 8th 2009 10:35AM Don't forget healers don't get to roll Need on lower armor. My druid will be greeding on every cloth upgrade for her heal set. I understand that clothies should get first shot, but I better not have to compete with other people who just want to auction the shard. If so, remove this healer from the Pug system before it evens gets in. Just saying.
Oct 20th 2009 11:03AM I first have to say that I love this column! I'm not a real achievement hound, but there are several that I just must do.
Secondly, devilsei is correct. Also, the entire paragraph under Trick or Treat is misleading or incorrect. To acquire this achievement, you must click the "!" on a candy bucket, not talk to an innkeeper.
The listing under "Out with it" isn't entirely right either. The only candy that gets you this achievement are the "Tricky Treats" that are showered on parties after the HH dies. Last year, you could trade them and they last 1 day.
I love this holiday and plan to have the title on my 5th character soon. :)
