Apr 4th 2012 3:18PM Not into this weekly or monthly DLC stuff - Rather play an MMO that gives me little updates for free. $60 game and then $10 a month - - - feels like an subscription MMO to me. The $10 DLCs for this just don't give enough. Not in love with the game either.
Apr 3rd 2012 3:59PM WOOT! I knew I played the best game out of all of them :)

Im having trouble sticking to any games anymore - Dont know if it is burnout with gaming or they are all just too similar. These are just ones I stuck with a month or more - I tried many others for a week or so.
Mar 20th 2012 2:44PM IF GW2 stays like GW1 with armor - then it wont be a pay to win thing...it will be a pay to look cooler thing. Which I'm fine with. I really liked that no ones armor was better than an others.
Mar 19th 2012 6:03PM Depends how they handle it -
TERA - with their everyone come test this 3 months ahead of time...even if you are an immature ahole and just want to troll the chat and level as fast as possible, and use foul language and yell at people asking you to please stop - was done poorly. You shouldn't have to turn off chat to test a game with your peers AND you shouldn't put a game out for people to test without a place to post bugs leaving email as your only course of reporting. Rift handled this last point very well. Mythos EU was another one that did it poorly...they didn't even give you an email at first!
Open Beta 2-3 weeks before launch, lasting a weekend for stress testing I think needs to be done. I have beta tested and cancelled my pre-order a few too many times now. Not because I pre-judged the game that included bugs, but because I played it enough to know it wasn't going to be something I will stay more than a month in. If they wouldn't have had that open beta - they might have gotten a sale from me!
But many do judge the game as 100% complete in betas and they shouldn't. That's why companies should be more careful with invites. How to do that is the trouble...Screening 50,000 people so you can let 10,000 OK testers into a beta is a bit time consuming.
Mar 19th 2012 11:04AM A Huge YES! Making someone buy a 6 year old expansion so they can buy the new expansion is just pure GREED. Guild Wars is a bit different - you don't need one to get the other, but if you need the previous expansion for the new one to work - INCLUDE IT!

I gave up on LL.... I too was spending a lot of money on tier....and I was making it back with item sales. I was having a blast. But then the lag came, and the disappearing inventory, and the grey textures...
This made the population start to rapidly decline and thus so did sales. They lost my trust...I gave them many chances and they blew it. Now I create for free in OS...and I also live there for free.
