Drama Mamas: My guildie is a registered sex offender {WoW}

Aug 15th 2011 2:21PM I see what you did there.....labeling gnome warlocks the bastard children of bar induced one night stands with minors....

This mage approves :)

Drama Mamas: My guildie is a registered sex offender {WoW}

Aug 15th 2011 2:19PM @Noyou,

Wow is a game....I log into WoW to....PLAY A GAME.

You are taking a serious logical misstep from my wanting to I dunno....LOG INTO A GAME AND GET OUT OF LIFE FOR AN HOUR....and equating that with a mentality that encourages criminal/delinquint behavior.

My guildies and I talk about our real lives some sure. They know I recently went through a divorce, I know they are looking forward to events with their kids......that doesn't mean all posted phone numbers online or ran background checks on people.

I reserve my same opinion on this topic as I do about rascism, or discrimination of any kind....when I log into WoW I don't care if you are white, black, hispanic, asian, straight, gay, catholic, muslim, mormon, baptist, etc. Sure I have my opinions on such things like everyone else, but I do my best to keep that crap out of Azeroth.

Also...I'm surprised nobody has brought this up.....depending on the "nature" of the offense to land someone on a sex offender list....playing WoW could possibly be a violation of the law for this individual considering the number of youth who play.

Aug 15th 2011 1:16PM For starters....dude was dumb for posting his digits on a public forum. Second....I seriously question anyone who runs a FULL phone number to determine geographic location (area codes are enough....and 2nd, WHY do you care).

Your guild leader is right....WoW is just a game....its your guildies (and you it seems) that are taking it offline.....and I suggest you stop it before you all have horrible gaming experiences because of it.

The Queue: Save me, Blitzcrank! {WoW}

Aug 5th 2011 11:31AM As a fellow mage I am disgusted you would consider speaking to a warlock.....the ONLY reason you should walk up to a warlock is to light up the icy veins and go all Sub Zero on their demonic asses.

Afterwards you can celebrate the death with cake :)

WRUP: The hottest rhyme 1988 has to offer {WoW}

Jul 17th 2011 1:54AM WOOT!!!! That be my mage with Fox and cutaia in that pic (far left, blizzcon mount, being blocked by a shadow wave)

Um could someone at WoW Insider please make Fox read his article on the greatness of mind might make him NOT wipe us next time :) Thanks :)

WoW Rookie: A raid rookie's lexicon of raiding language {WoW}

Jun 16th 2011 4:17PM I'm gonna pull serious aggro for what I'm about to say but whatev:

The term 'gay' is becoming as double standardized a 'n*****' where its perfectly fine for gay people to throw around left and right (and yes I know many a gay person that does it) but then completely spaz out or tell someone to get with the times when someone else uses it.

I also hold that position with the word 'f*****'.

The Queue: Stadium Love {WoW}

Apr 25th 2011 11:00AM @Darkseid,

The problem with Khorium is that its the rare spawn of Adamantite, just like Titanium to Saroinite, and Pyrite to Elementium in Twilight Highlands (and Silver to Tin). If you don't have it being farmed regularly by a few people it just doesn't spawn much

Apr 18th 2011 11:38AM Yes Greymane has a daughter....but when she gets pregnant and has a child she will be extending the child's father's line, not Greymane's.

The Lawbringer: Avatar rights as expectations {WoW}

Apr 15th 2011 2:55PM This expectation of service has this case it can really only apply to server up time and reliability (ie latency issues that our on their side).

You cannot make a blanket statement since it also implies they have to listen to you when it comes to raids, instances, mechanics, lore, etc. They absolutely do NOT have to do that. It is the developers decision how they want encounters to work and how to balance that is to their discretion alone.

That being said I think they do a good job catering to a wide variety of users, and though many will disagree I think they do a good job receiving our input and hearing our (constructive) thoughts.

Blizzard issues Call to Arms clarification {WoW}

Apr 8th 2011 4:43PM @Paulio,

No doubt and I didn't mean to imply that its always DPS fault. I had such a prick of a tank yesterday I left group after the 2nd trash pull. He kept over pulling and when I suggested he put up a kill order (he kept switching targets which I can understand) and let me sheep he said he was pro and never needed CC and our healer sucked. When he did have me sheep he kept breaking it.

That being said....there are bad tanks, and there are jerks who are tanks/healers. But I was speaking from the perspective of a tank because I enjoy it and do it for guild runs all the time....but screw the LFG for it.

These are solely my as a fellow mage my dear dps members....don't be dicks, watch your threat, and remember that in that PUG....the only person who gives a damn about your numbers on a meter are you.....SO DOWNLOAD YOUR OWN DAMN METER AND STOP ASKING THE REST OF US TO POST IT!!!

Woah....sorry had to get that off my chest
