Nov 3rd 2009 5:02PM Hmm. 7-10 times summon a day with a group of friends for 2 years (28 days) of Hallow's end.
3 mounts, 7 swords, 15 squashlings, 10 hallowed helms, 2 plate helms
Too bad the sword's unique.
Just run it daily with a group of friends and you'll eventually get what you want :)
Feb 25th 2009 8:08PM Be Mine achievement was a pretty painful achievement to get. I had to get my brother to log on once every hour for me as soon as I had to go for work. He did however manage to get it within the 1st 2 tries. Somehow the trick to increase the chances of getting the bag of candies were to trade your love tokens with civilians instead of guards.
I still remember Hallow's End. The Mask for All Occasions was probably by far crazier than Be Mine achievement and in the end Blizzard removed it as a requirement.
Be Mine achievement is hard but it is not un-attainable. Hate me if you will but I am all for Blizzard's stand on reducing the requirements and not removing it completely.
No, it's not because I've already attained it that's why I am like okay with it. It is because it is do-able and not impossible like the Mask for All Occasions.
Feb 6th 2009 9:55AM Uhh. Not using a gun.. & not rich enough to spend 5g/stack on saronite arrows...
Hence the yay for no more 1.6g/stack on timeless and just a 1 time payment (perhaps) for upgraded arrows...
Feb 6th 2009 12:17AM Wow wow wow... Best piece of news for a huntard so far...
No more wasting 1.6g/stack on timeless arrows......
Nov 19th 2008 10:29PM Main point: Just do the quests and enjoy it. The whole idea of not letting your epics be replaced so easily is so that you'll at least get to use something you worked hard for a little longer. Besides, i find our lvl 70 epics good for doing quests.
QQ less cause in the end all that matters is gear at end-game content.
Besides, I find things that last forever are vanity pets/mounts. They'll never be replaced. But that's just me :)

Oct 21st 2008 10:15PM Seems like it's all positive remarks about it...
I love achievements announcements! Esp when my guildie is such an achievement whore at it and achieves something almost every 30 minutes I'm online with him.
Some examples.. done by the same dude.
Exploration of the entire eastern kingdom..
Outland Gourmet (Eating everything on that food list..
Alterac Valley All Star..
Scarlet Monastry (Which popped for him when we were partied together for the seasonal boss. I decided to go down and kill the boss at the gy myself and he got that achievement...@@)
Bottom line is, achievement announcements may be annoying to some but I believe that the majority of us are fine with it.
It is however, Blizzard's attempt at keeping us @ $15/month..
750 achievements = ... perhaps my entire lifetime to complete.. which prolly is bad because even if I did SOMEHOW manage to complete those.. there will be another 750 achievements waiting at the end of the finish line. :(
Back to gaming!
Jul 1st 2008 8:45PM You don't necessarily have to go to a pvp server to be good at pvp. If you raid, you should actually be better off than people at bg grinding for gear. Yes yes you need resilience. When you pve and pvp, you kinda get the best of both worlds. Say for example a hunter, they could get the black bow of betrayer (or crossbow of relentless strikes) + upgraded arrows as compared to someone who only pvp their entire life. Arena also sorta helps you understand other classes better and forces you to think and react faster in different situation.
Everyone starts from the beginning. Don't go into arena without any resilience and hope to win. At least grind honor for the current honor gear (s2). Socket them with blue gems at the very least and also enchant them (Get exalted with whatever factions you need) !
That said, once you start pvp-ing, it takes a while to find the right partner. I hovered btw 1500-1600 the whole season 3 (since I only started in end feb). Only towards the end of the season I found a resto shammy. I've had a discpline priest that gets crushed like paper whereas somehow this resto shammy is able to survive so much better only with s2 gear. I'm a BM hunter and that works out really well with heroism.
It also takes alot of understanding of your own class. Know the hit rating you need. Mana/time required for each class to counter your opponents etc. Addons such as proximo helps too.
I'm only giving my opinions based on the fact that I enjoy pvp-ing with other people.
And yes, I get my frustrations at arena at times too. Bad internet lag spikes, LOS issues esp with that stupid big tomb in the middle (you know what I'm talking about), or my dumb cat taking the ramp to run down even thou the opponent jumped right off AND resto druids (omg their shapeshifting + regrowth + cc methods are OP).
Full S3 teams when I'm only in S1 gear were like me tickling them with my arrows.
The 'charming pair' described in this article was really wow. I couldn't help laughing. I'm sorry. Just click leave arena next time buddy :)
P.S. You're a druid. Learn to shapeshift/hot/cyc. You'll really make pple hate arena even more :P
