New craftables and valor BoEs for patch 4.3 {WoW}

Nov 30th 2011 1:34AM After the drop we saw 1 BS pattern drop and 1 LW pattern drop - it was DPS and I have turned quite the profit on it - however the drop rate reduction was insane.

Sunday Morning Funnies: Feeding time {WoW}

Nov 28th 2011 1:43PM There should be a fire bear for feral tanks =p

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Class and specialization abilities in Mists of Pandaria {WoW}

Nov 28th 2011 1:40PM Yes but it does allow for huge damage. Its going to force us to time it with a shout. Basically CS, then shout, then what big moves you have (over power MS, slam etc)

Phat Loot Phriday: Reforged Trollbane {WoW}

Nov 26th 2011 11:56PM you got one in 3.3 if you completed the Battered Hilt quest-line =P

but Polearms are where it's at for Catty it seems.

Why We Fight: Roleplaying the warrior {WoW}

Nov 26th 2011 7:24PM I think my tuaren warrior, for the most part, isn't an idiot, but he lacks the smarts of his Blood Elf compatriots (the Priestess, Paladin, and Hunter) - there are times he feels intellectually inferior when they talk of the light, the hunt, and their strategies in taking on their foes. He's a follower - whether tanking or taking up the dps - however he always excels in the battle field, often times being fast on his feet and saving a friend from a vicious foe. At these times he feels he is an equal - and that makes him rather happy and proud.

I think many people play the warrior as a simple man or woman, and that's sort of where they are. Any smarter and perhaps they would be a warrior of the light rather then just the sword.

Chuck Norris plays a melee hunter in latest WoW commercial {WoW}

Nov 21st 2011 5:11AM Chuck Norris is a Hunter, but Chuck Norris Doesn't need a Gun. He simply goes "Pew Pew" and the mobs shoot themselves so they don't make Chuck angry.

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: In arms' way {WoW}

Nov 19th 2011 6:41PM I have to agree, the current Arms is a bit behind. I can pull a good 22k in raid however, and it is my offspec, so my raid leader is happy that when the tank goes into DPS spec I'm not dragging to the point where I'm pulling less than the main tank.

Also apparently some of the fights in the next patch have a healing component that my raid leader is happy to have a DPS that can put an MS on the healed target. If it heals for 1million HP then it will only heal for 750k HP and that's 250k less to DPS back down.

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Snapshots of tanking tomorrow {WoW}

Nov 15th 2011 7:39PM That's when you ask your troll friend with a hack-saw to take the sides down a bit (or your goblin buddy with a mechnized buzz saw.) - and you get the "cut horns" look - if you're feeling fancy you can pop a pair of brass end caps on either side! (Pretty sure Tauren horns fall off/grow back from time to time... otherwise the barber shops are butchers!)

WoW Moviewatch: Iron Gnome {WoW}

Nov 15th 2011 6:32PM Listen that Bias portrayal of Garosh was... (watches again) ... Yeah that's spot on actually - sorry, continue!

Is it time to kill the global cooldown? {WoW}

Nov 15th 2011 6:07PM There's one major issue here with GCD - coming from an Arms Warrior - If I didn't have it my DPS would be INSANE.

Majority of the time I am attempting to spam something (like Execute, which has no normal cool down, just global.) most things are on GCD. If I could smash Execute, followed immeidately (Without GCD) with CS already applied, MS, Overpower, back to Execute again, and hitting whatever comes off of standard cooldown, I would probably hit 30k DPS right now, without any changes to gear. (currently I do 19-24k depending on how much I need to move away from my target and how lucky I get with crits)

The GCD is there for multiple reasons, but if it were removed all bosses/creatures would probably need a good 25% buff to their health to make the game play evenly - so may as well leave it be.
