Nov 5th 2008 12:15PM Pirates FTW.
Oct 31st 2008 3:06AM And the plot thickens....
This seems like a ploy to keep people busy fighting over the forums, rather then focused on any class issues that have been a thorn in the side of Blizzard.
Any person that would raise a class related issue in a forum structure like they plan to implement will draw so much trolling from other classes that it will drown out the original complaint or comment completely.
I for one think this is exactly why its being done. And even if its not, the result will be the same. Either way Blizzard wins and the players get shafted.
Sep 25th 2008 8:14PM 100% agree Wipe=run unless the healer or raid lead specifically calls for rez. Especially for pugs. If I have a soul stone then I will just pop and rez the group. If its a guild group, I sometimes will, but generally everyone just runs back on wipes anyway.
I had a guy actually get irate and nasty with my Priest a while back because I would not eat a spirit rez and ride back on my mount to get there faster to rez his lazy butt. Evidently he was in a real hurry to finish the run, LOL.
Sep 25th 2008 7:18PM If this is true I am canceling my pre-order.
They have turned out great products in the past with far fewer bugs then most.
But if they are short changing some classes needed development time just to meet a shipping date then I do not want to play it nor support it any longer.
Raid progress be damned, unfinished is as bad as broken IMO and not acceptable to me. Not from Blizzard. If this turns out to be the case it will severely impact my future purchases from them.
Sep 22nd 2008 4:40PM Giving someone advice on how to destroy a guild and a working one at that from the inside is pretty lame.
If you don't like the way its run just go elsewhere. Thats the best advice there is.
If you are unhappy with things then just leave the guild.
Have some damn respect for the other people in the guild and the guilds progress. If they don't like it they will leave on their own.
Its not up to you to fix a guild if you don't like something. Voice your concerns if you have them to the GL, if you don't have the stones to do that then WTF are you a officer/class lead for?
If your not willing to step up and lead yourself and do it as good or better then the other guy then shut up.
Before your soil your reputation following some really bad advice. This kind of thing generally bites the one who starts it. At the least this can cost you the price of a server move and a name change. Probably for more then one toon as well.
Chances are you will say something to someone who feels the need to blab, and the whole thing will blow up right in your face. You don't know the history, so you have no real idea whom may or may not decide your poison and out your little plan. Then you can watch as you get Gkicked and have a nice new nasty sign hung around your neck. One you earned.
Sep 16th 2008 11:46AM [quote]I have a priest alt getting close to 70. Planning on doing healing come Wrath. With the conversion to spell power should I be picking up healing gear or damage gear right now? How is, for instance, Spell fire stacking up against Primal Mooncloth? Is spellfire actually able to heal better right now in the beta? How about damage?[quote]
I think what was being asked here, is not about crit or Mana regen, but which numbers yield better results for +healing. Does the conversion favor one vs the other when it comes to how much +healing you actually can do after WOTLK.
The previous questioner may be looking at using items with Mana regen and high spell damage as opposed to more conventional healer gear hoping to get a better return later.
I think quite a few healers have been looking at this as well, my self included.
Sep 16th 2008 11:32AM Oh Lord, if thats what they are spending my money on to stop terrorism then were all dead. Did it even occur to consult actual gamers about this? LOL. Using a MMO this way has got to be the biggest pain in the proverbial A$$ there could be. Why would anyone even bother to do it that way when there are a hundred thousand others that are less vague and easier they could use.
What I think this really is about, one or more of these goobers is:
A) wanting to seek revenge against some gamer some were who made fun of him in school.
B) Wanting to keep tabs on his family, or better yet shuffle off said responsibility to uncle sam.
C) Is a anal IT control freak who can't stand that any part of the web, let alone a game is off limits to his powers of observation and control.
(D there really is no one with brains what so ever in the entire DHS, or any other associated agency.
Me, I think its D, but B and C are also contenders, LOL.
Jul 19th 2008 6:33PM LOL just what my bank wants to see, more of those little space hogging pets, LOL. Their like crack, once you get one they get the hooks in you and your done for for sure. I think I have spent more time, gold and RL money getting my hands on these then my raid gear. Takes me forever to decide which one I want to take along on raid night LOL. Of coarse their has to be some pre planning there so no two people have the same pet out, LOL.
Jul 18th 2008 1:11PM Killing Murlocs, must have.
Any and all related to Cannibalization of the enemy and or friendly players LOL. No sense in letting that Tauren who just died go to waste is there? LOL
