Oct 28th 2011 7:04PM I for one would love to hear the author's opinion about Nintendo and Pokemon vis-a-vis a lawsuit.
Jun 10th 2011 3:10AM What Lazy Shaman needs is an Awesome Button, programmed to send keystrokes instead of words. Very easy to do. http://blog.makezine.com/archive/2011/04/the-awesome-button.html
Mar 1st 2011 4:58PM "Sometimes you'd like to know that there are other MMOs out there, right?"
It sure isn't, we can't seem to get away from RIFT on this WOW site. I couldn't swear to seeing a RIFT article every single day, but at LEAST every other day it seems like WRUP or some other article is talking about RIFT.
Well, I don't come here to read about RIFT. I'm not going to play RIFT. I don't care about RIFT.
So enjoy your RIFT.
Dec 30th 2010 4:17PM Fishing would be much easier with a COMFY CHAIR!
Nov 18th 2010 2:03PM When I think of the Forsaken, this is kind of how I think of them. But then I have to wonder whether those past selves shown in the movie would really want to live such a damned existence, a mockery of what they once had. Zombies don't reproduce, but the living do. If the immortal undead "take back what is theirs" then soon there will be nowhere left for the living. Would you want your wife or your husband to linger on that way? Your parents? Your children? Not if you had any compassion, you wouldn't.
Several other things stuck out: The way the living were portrayed as evil, calling the undead a "maggot" - yes, because I converse with zombies while killing them. Also, the generic SW guard soldiers in the film had never met a rogue or hunter before. Finally, "Oh look at us we're so vibrant and remember when we were living" followed by "Dark lady watch over us!" while showing the churning plague wagon in the shot. Yeah I totally want to get behind their cause now.... not.
Fight for life - put the undead out of their misery. We've met enough thankful ghosts in Azeroth to know that there's something better waiting for them on the other side of death. Example: http://thottbot.com/c522
Oct 7th 2010 4:16PM Why not just reforge all that excess Crit into Mastery?
Jul 2nd 2010 3:04PM That's great, for randoms. What if it's your guild?
And before you say "Easy, /gquit" - it's a raiding guild, the only one I have managed to find that has raid times that actual working adults on the West coast (vs. college kids and younger, or people not on the West coast) can actually attend. So if I quit that guild, I may as well just stop playing.
Will Blizzard really start handing out two hour bans to my guild mates or will they just tell me to /ignore them?
Jun 29th 2010 7:09PM I wouldn't be pissed off except that they made us wait an entire extra week so the other regions could get it... then they screw some of us out of it?
Thanks Blizzard, thanks so much. How about next time, since it's obviously so unimportant, you just open Ruby Sanctum when the patch first goes live?
Apr 16th 2010 6:46PM I think the review missed two important points, which are what sold it to me:
1. Its relatively small size and see-through wings ensure that you can fly along the ground and easily see things that you're looking for (quest items, mobs, etc.) That's something that has always bothered me about the larger mounts.
2. The clencher: It scales to 310%. (If the HHM scaled to 310% I'd not have wanted this one.)
3. Ok ok it also goes good with my Starcaller title.
Jan 7th 2010 8:09PM We just barely managed to kill him on our 7th last night on 10 man. The two tanks were the only ones alive at the end and were responsible for the last 40k of his health.
It was a lot of fun - I think it will become easier as time goes by and we get more T10.
