Nov 2nd 2008 1:55AM base your statement on fact or just pure speculation? Durine the entire BC(I assume you heard of that expansion) the Retribution Paladin was dropped from any raid due to the lack of DPS.

Your saying now that when we hit 80 it wont be repeated again? I say it will, since we got 99% of all the skills already and they nerfed them and armor, resilience and even bosses get 10% more armor is coming at level 80 that makes our skills basically to "level 70" to matter anything in a fight.

You would not bring a level 60 to a raid now, right? Why would you bring a level 70 to a level 80 raid then cause thats where Ret Paladin is going to land, at level 70 skills being level 80.

I believe that Retribution Paladins is going to be so nerfed that they are at the brink of being useless when we hit level 80 so I am telling everyone that believes that Ret Paladin is OP then to put their money where their mouth is.

Are you willing to stake every single gold you have that you believe that Ret is going to be OP then too then contact me. I will put every gold I have in 5 months time that Ret is going to be back where they where at BC.

Nov 1st 2008 9:44PM Everyone and their dog knows the rogues and mages are overpowerd and have been for months after months and yet....nothing is being done about them.

The thing is...I wonder where Paladin really belongs, if they skew it one way we are to close to warriors, if they skew it another way we are to close to DK. In the end I suggest just removing the option to specc retribution paladins. Just have 2 specc, healing and tank. Since thats not threatening those precious rogues/mages of yours....

It ain't happening, I am willing to put every single gold I have or ever will have that blizzard would buff paladins or un-nerf paladins when they suck at 80.

Oct 27th 2008 4:12AM I agree that something had to be done however I do feel its unjust to nerf us back to hell. 20% nerf in addition to the already herfs has put our retribution paladins at lower level than before the 3.0 patch at all.

Your talking about fairness to other players, how long have paladins been misstreated? 8-9 months? and they had good for 2-3 weeks before they back to being ridiculed and excluded from raids.

Ever think of that ret paladins actually have feeling too and even if we where OP for a short persiod of time does that in any way compesate for the strip downs we suffered during 9 months of ridicule?

Paladins nerfed on the beta {WoW}

Oct 25th 2008 4:28PM I seen the changes etc that Blizzard has in store for us and I am still hopefull that it actually will boil down to not who got the best skills/talents etc but who does know his/her class the best.

I am not giving up on my Retribution Paladin even though its been nerfed and still is going to be nerfed because I know a few truths.

1. If we get to low and to many quit etc, Blizzard will take action, either nerf other classes or buff Paladins.

2. They intend to balance the game out so it comes down to player skill and not a "I win button"

3. I don't PvP as much as when I do the team I run with suck so bad it won't matter if I am OP or not, we loose anyways because in AV as in any other BG its always a team effort and if the rest of the team is a 9 year old pimpled pre-adolescent nerd thats likes to PK in middle of AV...then we will always loose.

What I wish however for some to keep in mind is this. Paladins as any other class have 3 different speccs, that means that a healer can't dps as well as a retribution can, and a retribution can't tank as well as the protection can.

Sure there are a few things that still remain but please keep those 3 speccs separate in your comments.

I can't for example as retribution heal more than 2-3 times with greater heal because then I run out of mana and no replenish can regen mana as fast as healing would take it.

Bubble can be dispelled, it happend to me many times. and while it is a powerful tool it is also a way to balance out rogue being able to vanish/cloak of shadows etc.

All classes have their own nich that they are good at and in my mind there are no class that has so over powerful skills that its unbalacing the game.

Please keep that in mind when you try to slam a class for having skills, that indeed every class have them and every other class THINK that its over powered since they don't have that.

I for one am waiting for WotLK for new bosses and for new content to conquer.

Oct 21st 2008 3:47PM Ok, so Paladins lost ALL the critical strike damage bonus they had...every single way we can increase it and how does Blizzard compensate?

Tier 10 5pt talent is as good as tier 3 warrior talents, fair?

the 25% critical strike damage was exchanged with a SMALL bonus on the avg damage on the very same strikes...which are ALL on 10 sec cooldown and you use MAYBE once or twice in a PvP. How does that compensate?

They claim that it will be about same damage just less bursty...right...when a PvP battle goes on for about 3-4 minutes perhaps but a PvP battle is over in 10 seconds or less. How is that compensated for paladins?

For those that claim we can heal jada jada...every tried healing while a rogue stun you? sure we can bubble but that helps exacly how long...? after the bubble the rogue is still there and you MIGHT get 12 secs of extra time do do damage but same time rogue can not nerf rogue burst damage?

I am asking someone to tell me exacly how these changes made paladins more fair to fight in PvP? Since now we lost ALL critical bonus damage and as such is no match for rogues or warlocks or anyone else thats heavy into doing crit damages.

and lastly Id love for someone to tell me again how this only affects the PvP Ret paladins, since when I am fighting a mob for questing or whatever I don't relish the thought of spending 2-3 minutes per mob fighting them. Id like to have same chanse as the other melee classes have to finish of the mob fast and relatively easy.

Someone objective tell me exacly how these changes that are made will balance the ret paladin out...please..

Oct 16th 2008 4:35PM I come to the conclution that all those that whine are rogues,mages,warlocks or just 2 button spammers.

For every class of those I beat I will do an extra little dance on your body just to celebrate how you can't even beat paladin efter his nerf.

And if you cry over our dps a little more...ill bring out my bowl of victory and save your tears for my celebration of worthless players.

If you can't handle the PvP with the Paladin there is a easy way of solving the issue, stop PvP and get to PvE or just log out and get a life.

I am going to HOPE the Rogue or Mage or Warlock get nerfed and when they do, I believe I will hold a extra little celebration of the justice of it all....
