Dec 11th 2010 10:16AM You mileage may vary, of course . .. but I found that the later in the day I play the better the group gets in the LFD. So far (and I'm taking my time), I've only had one real ass in a group, a recount obsessed rogue, and he straightened up when everyone else told him to STFU. All the rest of the LFD groups have been awesome. (And a huge thank you to all of them!)
I think I take it harder when someone goes off on me while I'm tanking or healing, but really it's not as bad as it appears most of the time. This is a good time to learn and practice because there are fewer expectations from a group. I've had multiple runs now where the healer walks in and announces "My 1st time healing this!"
BTW, Tanks (or Dungeon Leaders): when you get that 1st time player, PLEASE take a moment or two to mark and/or explain the upcoming fight (yes, even difficult trash pulls!). It makes it SO much easier on the heals when everyone has a good idea what's about to happen. The flip side of dps behaving, and healers relearning their craft, is that a tank has to have a plan.
It's kinda fun when it all comes together. So, just jump in there and do it!
