Know Your Lore: Cataclysm's end {WoW}

Dec 4th 2011 11:12PM Just because they aren't aspects anymore doesn't mean they aren't powerful. The four are still the heads of their flights and still powerful in their own rights without the added boost from the Titans.

I don't think you can assume that they'll just fade away completely, we'll see them again

Patch 4.3: First look at the rogue legendary daggers {WoW}

Sep 23rd 2011 1:31PM Wings are unique?

/ Warlocks did it
:-P

How did you discover World of Warcraft? {WoW}

Apr 14th 2011 7:11AM I was working for gold farmers. WoW seemed like the only game we worked with that wasn't overly confusing or taking itself too seriously. Long after I'd left the gold farming company an enjoyment for WoW remained. (I was never involved in the farming side, just customer service and dealing with contractors)

Breakfast Topic: Looking forward to patch 3.3 and the next expansion {WoW}

Aug 7th 2009 12:20PM That was supposed to end up as "the remaining dragon aspects"

Aug 7th 2009 12:18PM Beat Sindragosa (with Malygos raised as a pawn of hers now), Beat Arthas. Beat everyone on Hard Mode and Galakrond arises.

The remaining members of the Dragonflight come to assist. Even Deathwing, knowing how much trouble there would be if an undead Galakrond got free to wreak havoc on Azeroth.

In the process of the battle, or in it's aftermath, Deathwing predictably turns on the others and kills Ysera. Her death ultimately hastens the corruption of the Emerald Dream forcing intervention there in the next expansion.

Who said the Expansion had to end on a high note? Beat Arthas only to herald the return of Deathwing and cause the Emerald Dream to begin falling apart (the portals could begin showing signs of increased corruption pretty quickly).

Viewsonic goes all out with new nettops, netbooks, media PCs and media players {Engadget}

Jul 23rd 2009 8:43PM Shamefully, I own an old Viewsonic PC (M2200 I think was the model number) from '03 or '04. It was a piece of junk then and hasn't held up well over the years. Granted most problems can be traced to their choice in power supply, but having a computer for all of a month and then having it go "bam" and become useless is not fun.

It's even less fun when Viewsonic won't support it because it was bought from Tigerdirect.com.

Yeah, never buying a PC from them again, they should stick to monitors since that's what they're "good" at.

Win one of five TCG codes today on WoW Insider {WoW}

May 19th 2009 9:00AM Yay free stuff!

Stealth detection items nerfed {WoW}

May 14th 2009 8:11PM Why not? Bliz made a fairly big deal about the fact that the itemization in WotLK shouldn't give you one clear item better than all the rest. They said repeatedly that they wanted people to have to choose their situational items based on more than one or two stats.

Remembering that, this decision makes zero sense. The only thing that was happening here was that players were buying into Bliz's philosophy and choosing lesser items for the buff instead of just becoming ingame avatars of the player's spreadsheet.

The Queue: Left 4 Cheesehead {WoW}

May 8th 2009 4:43PM Or make it scale to a mid-level expansion weapon. Something that could be replaced in early raiding, but would be useful during heroic runs. That way you'd still get to see people carrying them around every so often.

New in-game battle bots connected to Mountain Dew? {WoW}

May 5th 2009 1:11PM Every other sweepstakes or competition out there has a "enter for free" method hidden somewhere in the fine print. I'm fairly certain that if they do a Code based reward system the method for entering for free will be posted on every wow-themed website out there.
