Drama Mamas: Much ado about funsuckers {WoW}

May 14th 2011 1:24PM im with you aseyburn...

while i dont agree that verbal abuse is the right thing to do my reply is such. blizzard put normal dungeons in the game for a reason. players who need to learn basic tactics and playstyles can do normal dungeons to bridge the gap. while heroics are a lot easier now the new zandalari heroics are very hard and require proper tactics just like you would expect in a raid.

May 14th 2011 1:17PM the problem is that there are normal dungeons which are introductory dungeons which lesser skilled players use to gear up and learn strategies, and then heroic dungeons.... if you join a heroic then it is generally expected that you know how to play your class at least reasonably well and have a mimimum gear level. this is why blizzard have implemented the minimum gear level cap.

you should always try to pull the lower skilled players through the instance without raging for sure but sometimes, just sometimes, you get a player who is so far below the minimum threshhold that its practically impossible to complete the dungeon...

as much as lower skilled/geared players like to say its the responsibility of the higher skilled/geared player to pull them through and gear them, its also expected that they return the favour and at least try to learn the strategies... my biggest bugbear is when somebody doesnt know the strategies and doesnt even say so and proceeds to wipe the group multiple times

Apr 17th 2011 2:53AM anonymous there is a big difference between an arcane mage at 80 and an arcane mage at 85.... sure you wont run out of mana now but as you level the mana require increases exponentially... i think its like almost 10k mana per 4 stack arcane blast at 85
