Mar 30th 2011 1:23AM Would be funny if Tesco got hold of that stock for like £100 a unit (I know its not possible) Which means that in the long run they will be making a lot more profit than GAME.
I feel "sorry" for Tesco over this... Shady work ethics are shady...
Mar 3rd 2011 5:59PM WOW! So glad I came back to Guild Wars after so long. I left the game a few months into GW:Factions and I've reinstalled the games earlier this week.
ArenaNet never cease to amaze me. If the plethora of new info and how Guild Wars 2 is turning out wasn't enough they keep making Guild Wars even better than it is... ALL FOR FREE!
Now that's what I call dedication and true love for a product that they have created.
KEEP IT UP ArenaNet.
Jul 1st 2010 3:50PM REALLY EXCITED NOW!
Can't wait to play it when it goes F2P after it flops.... :)
Jun 24th 2010 1:45PM Errrmmm so they've gone from a retarded death penalty to a stupid death penalty? It's a Free to Play game yet they force you to pay money to carry on playing that game. And by that I mean, that nasty debuff, if you don't want to pay to get it remove (Since you're playing a FREE game you don't have to) will gimp you a bit however, it will start stacking once you die over and over again. You can carry on playing but eventually you'll either be FORCED to spend money to get it removed, buy the over expensive items from the auction house or re-roll/quit. :S And this is what happened with the previous death penalty, yet they haven't learned a thing. :S They are probably not making enough money from other CS items so they force players to at least buy the ones to remove death penalties. However if they had a bigger community with "normal" death penalties they would have a higher percentage of people buying either cosmetically or other optional items. :S I might be wrong... but this is my opinion... A shame to see the game slowly dying (Haven't played for a good 4 or 5 months!)
May 16th 2010 3:24PM That's my screenshot! Thanks for featuring me guys! :D I've been doing some swift levelling and I'm now almost done with the Lonelands! Ever so close to Moria! Really can't wait to check it out and see what they have done with the place! :D
May 13th 2010 1:58PM I am taking a break from WoW for a while now. Will people with frozen accounts still get the beta invites or do they need an active subscription? The beta requirements from the Blue post above only mentions a "World of Warcraft license attached to your Battle.net account" :)
Apr 20th 2010 8:33PM Refer to comment 5. :)
Mar 18th 2010 5:45PM SpartanS Stand Tall. Plural - Plural. More than one. - More than one. Multi. - Multi. Multiplayer?
World of GoW - WoGoW ? :P
God of War DLC adding Multi Player to the game (3rd One)?
PSP Game with WiFi for Coop play?
God of War movie starring a bald & meaner (IF POSSIBLE! ) Gerard Butler? :P
Mar 12th 2010 9:31PM Uummmmm so they've teased us with the Vision trailer, either to lure new players to play their recently released (back when the video hit the internet) game or to keep old players in the game. Now that they have a "stable" player base they decide to tell everyone that it was just a glimpse of what MIGHT be coming? Something that they will be doing throughout the game's lifespan? Ive cancelled my subscription before my first 30 days ended but ive been keeping an eye on new updates etc anxiously waiting for all those features they have shown in the Vision trailer. Id probably come back were they to release all of that soon in different patches or in a single patch - the big 'oh my God it's 2.0' update as Jef put it. But yeh... Im really dissapointed. If I was glad for not spending the money every month on the game now Im even more. :P
Mar 3rd 2010 12:51PM " Many companies approached us about making Alganon F2P, but that's just something we weren't interested in. Right now, the industry standard is to squeeze as much money as they can out of players by introducing cash shops, and forcing them to pay for things that ought to have been part of the game. We don't want to do that. We want Alganon to be a service. You pay us a subscription so we can continue to develop and run a game that you enjoy playing. It's not a product where you hand us money and we hand you a vanity pet, or mount, or epic sword and then walk away. It's an ongoing service where we are here for you. " - Just... LOL! (Taken from an old Q&A)
