Jun 27th 2011 6:59PM There's some very tasty new valor point rewards as well - namely a hit/haste wand for the bargain price of 700 VP!!
May 25th 2010 12:00PM In TBC (when threat was more of an issue) I used to time my usage of Soulshatter based on the anticipated length of the fight.
eg: in a 10 minute fight I would pop Soulshatter after 2 mins then again just before the final burndown of the boss
This basically meant I only really had to watch my threat for the first couple of minutes then I could let rip with reckless abandon for the next 3-4 minutes (as I had roughly 50% of the threat the tank has spent the last 2 minutes building). Usually I'd have caught up by the time we reached the stage where I'd be popping all cooldowns to finish off the boss at which point I could Soulshatter again and go all out.

Aug 20th 2008 11:57AM Theres been some nerfing of the infrenal (to level 50) and the doomguard (to level 60) on the live servers apparently due to some issues with the Brutalus encounter in Sunwell Plateau. What are they like on the Beta?
I heard some rumours that the infernal was being changed to 1 min duration, but little in the way of explaining exactly what this means (if it's true at all). Is it working in a similar way to what it always did or has it changed to be more like, say, a shamans fire elemental (which would be an awesome change if you're listening Blizz ;) ).
So are they still the same on the Beta or have Blizzard given us the love they promised for our two least used demons?
Aug 5th 2008 8:59AM When you've just put stuff on the AH and do a search to check that you've undercut everybody else only to find someone else has undercut you while you were making the 20 auctions - didn't even get a chance to leave the AH!!
Jul 14th 2008 4:51AM So, the broken are draenei who have lost their connection with (i.e. addiction to) the light and are outcasts to their race, and the wretched are blood elves who have sucummed to their magic addiction and become outcasts to their race.
Anyone else notice any common themes here?....
Jul 11th 2008 6:01AM Cast CoR on a mob with spell reflect on and you can make yourself immune to fear for the duration. I'd love to give an example of where this is really useful, but mainly I just use it for when I've accidentally ended up with my own CoD or CoA on myself to overwrite it before the healers/raid leader notices.
Similar trick with Siphon Life - the buff to healing from Fel Armour means you gain 20-30hp a tick when it gets reflected back onto you. If you've got understanding healers you can even stick Corruption on yourself to proc nightfall, but they tend to get a bit upset about it at this point. ;)
