There are several wrong things with his list. The existence of it not being the least problem.
The value of a piece of gear can only be determined by looking at the whole gear set. In any case, all secondary stats only have the same value is you are running Patchwerk-style sims. In most cases, specially when there is AoE involved, or when you need to stand in front of the boss (which should account to most of the raid fights these days), you want to cap hit and expertise first (the different for AoE is huge). Then, you want to keep your other secondary stats BALANCED, maybe we haste slightly ahead (specially if you are using the Matrix trinket). Try going all crit and you will see describing them as all the same just won't cut it.
Also, the BiS list for trinkets here doesn't work. BiS trinkets are Compass and Wrath. You don't want all 5 pieces of T13. You want 4 plus Underdweller's Spaulders.
When you do all your math, you will see your BiS neck is Choker of the Vanquished Lord (397), so thats 2 BiS pieces from H-FL, not DS or VP.
Also, be very careful with set bonuses. 4xT12 is very strong is you are hit/exp capped, specially if it is 4xH-T12. If that is the case, you might want to delay going T13 until you get 4xT13 or 2xH-T13. Forget LFR-T13. Speaking of LFR, there are 2 pieces you want regardless of Heroic FL gear: the Wrath trinket and the Kiril polearm. They will be upgrades regardless.
My strongest recommendation is: forget BiS lists for feral druids. Get Mew and/or Rawr and work what pieces are upgrades based on YOUR SET. No piece works alone.

Nov 24th 2011 8:00PM I will second the oRA3 recommendation. I couldn't live without it, specially the cooldown monitor.
Having some dedicated frames can help also. You raidframes might have them already. I use XPerl RaidFrames for this (I only have 5 XPerl modules enables, and that is including the options one).
Picking a good raidframe is also important, since you will need to keep an eye on everything that is happening.

Oct 29th 2011 12:37PM Autoattacks are actually something very interesting. Not only it is available to all classes right now (white swings/ white attacks), but it a history of being exploited but some casters. Back on wrath, resto druid would autoattack to get extra Omen of Clarity procs Laldo on BC). Some caster trinkets could be triggered that way.
Even now, they are high damage for some classes. They are aprox 20% of a kitty druid damage. And alot of druid will complain about that (I love it), and it is their main source of OoC procs (doesnt work for resto anymore).
The problem with monks not having autoattacks is the potential impact it will have for players with higher latency. As someone who raids endgame with 200ms, this is not a happy prospect for me.

Oct 23rd 2011 8:12PM This separation of cat and bear really worries me. Right now, there are (mostly) 2 things stopping druid tanking from being second class. One is the dps we can pull when not tanking. The other is the auto-slow (IW), which makes us wonderful in fights like Shannox. Warriors can cap shield and virtually stop physical damage. Paladins can escape death time and time again. DKs are almost mandatory for bosses with high magical damage. So yeah, each tank has a niche, each one excels in a different way.
But with the separation of cat and bear, there is a very big risk of druid becoming second class tanks. I mean, yes, Blizzard gave us a quasi-shield like ability, but which self respecting druid tank gears for mastery ? And since we don't have bear specific gear, we have to reforge, and dodge is the only choice. No only that, but SD depends not only on mastery, but also on crit, hit and expertise. Pretty nasty.
I miss druid tanking as it was back on BC. Ok, we were kind of OP for several fights, for not all. We could still take crushing blows, and we had no interrupts to speak of, and we didn't have any protections against 1shot magical attacks. But still, druid tanks were respected.
It is not impossible to Blizzard to do something to make bears wanted, but I really don't think it will happen. Specially with a new tanking class getting introduced.
Call me pessimist, but as a bear tank, our future on MoP looks bleak.

Sep 25th 2011 12:04AM Really not sure how much we would use 4pc. I mean, if we get a fight like Alysrazor, where we have to run out and attack low-hp adds, it might be nice. For considering how many encounters these days have stuff on the ground you can't step on, or you can't get close to other players, this bonus risks getting ignored pretty often.

Sep 24th 2011 11:59PM I'm kinda annoyed by the Kitty 4PC. So we have to start running out and charging back in again ? That is a very annoying mechanic. The 2pc, on the other hand, is pretty sweeeeettttt.

As far as bears go, can't say I'm trilled by either bonuses.

Sep 21st 2011 8:08PM Heroics have only been part of normal progression for guilds that are aiming for heroics (like mine, for instance). We go through normal as fast as we can to get to heroics.

However, I only do that on my main. My alts have been doing regular-only raiding since Ulduar, and I never had a problem with progression. Sure, doing the next tier regular content with heroic gear made it easier (so much easier it sometimes became boring), but doing just normal raiding is perfect possible.

Sep 21st 2011 6:21PM I still don't understand why they nerfed heroics. Heroics are not part of the normal progression. They are for the people who want the extra challenge. If you take the challenge away, why even have a different mode ?
