Mar 16th 2012 10:34AM Tri-specialization. My main spec is dps, my off-spec is for pvp, but I'd love to be able to have a pocket tank spec as well, just in case my raid needed it. It's a pain having to respec/glyph in these situations. I think it would get players to try roles they haven't tried before because they wouldn't have to give up the specs they use on a day to day basis. Also, I know I'll never see it, but having one set of tier pieces for hybrid classes, that would change stats depending on your spec. It's a lot easier for pure classes. I understand the stat weights change depending on a pure class' spec, but an easy reforge takes care of it. Having to farm for two sets is already a pain, but it would be nice if at least our tier pieces were interchangeable with our dps/tank/healing specs. Once again, I believe that this would get players to try new roles. The idea of having to do the valor/token grind for a second time is just not an appealing option for a lot of people. I know both of these are a reach, but hell, if they did it, I'd be a lot more excited about Mists.
Feb 22nd 2012 7:37PM I believe that progressive nerfs to normal modes are perfectly fine. On the other hand, hard modes should be left alone. Balancing an individual encounter or adjusting a mechanic can be ok in some cases. Heroic modes shouldn't be dumbed down just so more people can progress. They are there for skilled players who want to be challenged. My raid group is not 8/8H and I'm ok with that, and I'd rather not have it handed to us. I believe we should all strive to become better at our classes and at the actual encounter, that way a sense of accomplishment remains, regardless of how long it took. #keephardmodeshard

Aug 15th 2011 10:44AM Honesty, I'm there for both. First and foremost is handling the mechanics of the fight properly. After that is taken care of, then yes my focus is to top the chart. It's not due to a superiority complex, I just want to do the best I can and contribute as much to my groups success as possible. Not all encounters will allow this, but if your taking care of step one and at least in the ballpark of everyone else's dps, then there shouldn't be any complaints.
Jun 17th 2011 12:30PM Balancing PVE because of PVP is plain stupid. I really wish Blizzard would implement a system where attacks and other spells would have a different effect against other players. Yes, it would be a lot of work, but please don't tell me they don't have the resources.
Jun 8th 2011 2:18PM The funny thing is DW has been ahead of 2H for a little while now, and only by a small percent. So I don't know what the nerfs are for. Are they trying to get more people to DW for some reason? Are they trying to make unholy the 2h spec of choice? It's anyone's guess. The only thing that makes sense is pvp balance, and even that doesn't make sense, because like I said, DKs aren't killing the charts right now. I don't need DKs of any spec to be OP, I just wish they would leave us be until we actually need to be balanced. Blizzard has to come up with another solution for balancing pvp, period. I think my QQ is legit.
Jun 8th 2011 12:32PM So, will they ever stop nerfing pve for the sake of pvp? I think they seriously need to take a look at somehow separating damage vs. environmet and damage vs. players. Maybe this is their nice way of saying frost is meant to be played in frost presence only. It's not like DKs are OP in raids. I guess I'll just roll with punches.
May 16th 2011 10:26AM Until legendary weapons actually remain legendary, I don't really see myself putting much effort into getting one. Shadowmourne was quickly replaced when Cata hit, and by items that were extremely easy to obtain. It would be nice if they scaled to level like heirloom gear, but scaling to equal level epic not blue. Of course people would say its pointless because you'd never need to replace it, but if its truly legendary, should you have to? Not everyone will be able to get the legendarys so there would still be a place for crafted epic/drops. It's just funny to me how something that is supposed to be legendary can lose that status in such a short period. Maybe its just me, but it doesn't make much sense lore wise either.
May 11th 2011 10:01AM I had a feeling the frost dk nerfs would be coming soon, but at least they buffed my hurricane card.
