Nov 24th 2009 11:00PM I really think their hesitation over players being dissatisfied with their character's new looks is really simple to deal with. Just give an automatic, free character customisation option to all members of a race as their models are updated. BAM. No one can cry that they don't like their character's new face, because they get to reselect it.
Nov 22nd 2009 4:29AM The goblin preview on the official Cataclysm site makes reference to Kaja'mite ore. It's something their ancient troll slavemasters forced them to dig up, and their continued proximity to the raw ore gradually turned them into the supergenius crackpots we have today.
So, it's a safe bet that's something. Possibly the new Titanium.
Nov 15th 2009 12:43AM This is just one more example of why I find Belt completely obnoxious. People go on about his humour, but all it amounts to is acting like a passive-aggressive twit and mentioning that he hates warlocks ever paragraph. It's insulting and degrading to me as a mage player to be saddled with him as a columnist.
Nov 14th 2009 5:44AM "Thought it would address the aboe issues, wtf sort of solution is that."
A solution that you can't find any flaw with, you just hate irrationally? That's all I'm getting out of your comment.
HOW DARE BLIZZARD DELIVER US A METHOD WITH WHICH TO OPTIMISE OUR GEAR BY SACRIFICING JUNKY STATS WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY MAKING NUMEROUS PROFESSIONS WITH WANING RELEVANCE SUDDENLY VERY SIGNIFICANT! THOSE CADS!
Nov 9th 2009 9:05PM Doesn't explain the mad at the Horde part, though. I've done it a few times in the last month.
Nov 9th 2009 9:03PM You're upset that Sacco gave an honest and well-supported opinion, actual journalism, and sullied it slightly by linking to your gushing, unsupported corporate shilling? Nah, even I'm not, he should link as it's professional to provide sources. Thankfully this article provides a much needed antidote to your uncritical, toadying praise and a much needed voice for the many of us horribly dissatisfied with some of Blizzard's choice of writers.
Oh, and I'm pretty sure he didn't come into your article and make a passive-aggressive attack on you for whatever tiny shred of journalistic integrity you might have.
Nov 9th 2009 3:40AM That's exactly how the Tome works. It accumulates information as your experiences do likewise.
Nov 9th 2009 12:51AM I can't say I believe that there is any hidden agenda to this at all. Maybe this is just another example of Blizzard's dedication to polishing their products as much as possible? They took a look through the game, realised that the new player experience was below standard and decided that the small effort required was something easily spared.
Nov 6th 2009 8:19PM You too, Artificial. :)
Funny thing about complaints about the state of the game from people who claim to not really play anymore/have quit some time ago: HOW CAN THEY POSSIBLY HAVE AN INFORMED OPINION ON THE CURRENT STATE OF THE GAME?
Nov 6th 2009 8:15PM I think I love you, Tolk.
