Aug 27th 2010 9:41AM I am female and my first toon back in vanilla was a rogue. I chose that because back in my D&D days i always played an assassin type character so it seemed to fit what I knew from previous experience. Then I leveled a resto shaman, warlock, balance druid, DK, priest, hunter, working on a warrior, and plan on a worgen mage and a holy cow in cataclysm. My main at this point in time is my balance druid.
My husband on the other had went feral druid, dk, ret/prot paladin, and now warlock. His main right now is his paladin. And my hubby tends to roll his toons based on getting to hit things really hard, he also likes classes that can end up with a crap ton of HP and carry really big weapons. lol
Just about everyone I know in game, whether male or female, has at least one toon of every class, but we've all been playing since vanilla...

Dec 25th 2009 7:05AM Merry Christmas!
Sep 5th 2009 11:00AM I feel just as attached to my shaman, however I switched factions a little over a year ago. Which means that though I love my shaman, I never play on that faction anymore, so I hardly play her. Which is why I switch her to the faction I play now. I know if she is on the same side and server I currently play on, I will play her a ton more, which to me makes it worth it.
Aug 29th 2009 8:31PM I've never won anything, maybe this will be a first =)
Jun 3rd 2009 9:22AM OMG Adam, I so agree I would play that so fast lol I would even be willing to start at level 1 again if I had to even though I already have like 5 level 80s =(
Jun 2nd 2009 10:30AM OK just as a general observer of human behavior, these 2 people being the same person makes no sense. Why, would a woman who is already having a very successful blogging career risk her credibility by denying that she is Ferraro if they really were one and the same person?
I mean there would have been no reason for her to announce on Paladin Schmaladin who she really was or the other blogs she wrote for that were not WoW related prior to this and absolutely no shame in admitting that Paladin Schmaladin and TechDarling were written by the same person once the similarities were discovered if it was in fact true. That would have been much less damaging to her reputation and other paid blogging gigs, not to mention potentially more success generating, than trying to deny it and come up with that convoluted story to "explain".
In general, 1 successful blog + another successful blog = increased traffic and success, especially since there could be potential crossover of interests between the two. But if she completely discredits the honesty and possible validity of one of those blogs, she would call into question all of her blogs if in fact she was writing both of them.
That would just be stupid, and Sara Townsend does not strike me as anywhere near stupid. If I were her, frankly right now I'd be scared (assuming Sara and Ferraro are not the same person). She has someone who has been very closely following her online and co-opting her life and work since 2004. That is a long time for Ferraro to lie (and probably fantasize) about who s/he really is. I have worked in mental health now for a lot of years, and when you take an unstable and possibly delusional person and poke massive holes in said delusion/fantasy that is a major stressor. Bad things can happen when you add stress to an already unstable person.
