Dec 13th 2010 11:03AM I think it was a typo, since there is no "RP-PvE" designation. I believe she meant to say "RP-PvP" and simply hit E instead.

Dec 13th 2010 3:31AM So RP! It's not hard. You're not going to embarrass yourself or anything -- people are generally either just going to ignore you (which sucks, but oh well) or play along.

As for your character -- well, why not try playing someone quite different from yourself? (You almost have to -- every touchstone of your life is different in Azeroth.) I know it can be difficult to do, but if you're usually shy and introverted, roll someone hammy enough to be played by Brian Blessed. Don't be afraid to have a character who's more funny than serious -- some of the more memorable moments in roleplaying come from bombastic, "light" characters. This is especially true if what you want is public RP -- heavy drama works better with people you've got a lot of trust in.

Nah, but seriously, it's a great server -- the RP community is pretty close-knit, and the server as a whole still has a nice "small town" feel. Moon Guard and Wyrmrest Accord are bigger (and, accordingly, have bigger queues...) but I think SoE has a lot of charm, and new players are always good. Look me up! :-)

Oct 4th 2010 1:02PM Right. I think that in general Blizz is trying to make the pure DPS classes a little more flexible on that account, so that (hopefully) people won't ask that question as much. They're all supposed to be good for, well, killing things to death. :-)
