Spiritual Guidance: Controlling heroic Razuvious {WoW}

Apr 6th 2009 8:04AM This 'guide' is pretty dam terrible… and way late.

Hit is not required but will impact release chance, having a set of pure hit gear for this encounter makes things go a lot more smoothly and should be a requirement for any serious raiding priest.

One key in making this go smoothly is to assign who goes first in regards to tanking the boss.

PS: A retard meter also helps significantly in determining which priests should be doing the MC.

Breakfast Topic: What is WoW's biggest mistake? {WoW}

Mar 25th 2009 9:14AM Completly agree with Snakeman.

In order of negative impact:

1) Arenas (and the class homogenization byproduct).

2) The push away from the WoW roots which made it a success, this list is large so I won't post it, but it truly is a death by a thousand cuts.

3) DK implementation.

Blood Pact: Warlock's guide to gearing for Naxx {WoW}

Feb 24th 2009 11:03AM An article of substance, bravo!

Ignore the nay sayers, for a casual player who has just reached 80 this is good advice. I look forward to reading more articles from you.

To the nay sayers, shame on you, this is much better than the senseless dribble that has been put out in the past.

WoW Patch 3.1 PTR Holy and Disc Priest changes {WoW}

Feb 24th 2009 8:59AM Coming from a Holy & Shadow play, this looks more like a nerf than anything.

Nothing to address the issue of shadow scalability.

Overall the changes seem disjointed and feel more like a nerf than anything.

Ghostcrawler gives specifics for patch 3.1 mana regen changes {WoW}

Feb 19th 2009 7:42AM Good god, all this QQ from pallys and druids, yet the healer class with the most mana issues, namely the holy priest is not mentioned anywhere.

If the other classes that don't have mana issues are afraid, I do wonder what the healing class that does have mana issues currently will play like.

Another nerf bat to priests, yay, thanks blizz, we know you hate us, keep the love coming.

Dual spec Q&A with Ghostcrawler {WoW}

Feb 13th 2009 5:12AM I really wished this was done with some epic quest rather than a crappy gold sink.

To add to this, it’s sad that they have added a leveling restriction, having leveled a priest as shadow all the way to 80, I can confirm that you can heal if you have the experience all the way to just before heroics, however dual spec would become useful from looking at the tree’s at level 40 for a lot of classes.

Therefore an epic quest at each 10 levels would be awesome, but of course that would require adding new content to the existing world, which blizzard seems to have an issue with, actually adding new content in general seems to be an issue.

Spiritual Guidance: Mana nerfs and Priest buffs {WoW}

Feb 10th 2009 8:45AM @emberdione

Yup, after healing 25 mans for a while, they needed a SPriest so I
respeced as asked, and never looked back.

Honestly with everything that has happened, we have gone from having
far too many holy priests, to having none in the primary raid group,
and one or two under geared ones in the secondary group.

I'm now in the process of now gearing a pure DPS class, looking to
replace my priest main, as SPriests are boring comparatively, if not
effective.

Another healer bites the dust...

On a side note, looks like this isn't just affecting priests, I'm
seeing druids and shamans turning to the DPS side, looks like the
healer shortage is just going to get a lot worse.

WoW in 3D doesn't work so well {WoW}

Feb 6th 2009 10:07AM @daintyinblack

I'm in the same boat, due to circumstance I never ended up developing 3D vision even thought I have perfect eye sight in both eye's (If I concentrate I can get depth perception but naturally I don't, yeah its weird!).

Don't get all down that you can't see 3D, for people like us any high def picture with correct shading is interpreted as not being a flat surface unlike our third dimensionally unchallenged brethren.

I've used multiple 3D techs and just end up walking away complaining how crap the resolution usually is =D
