Enter to win a Creative World of Warcraft wireless headset {WoW}

Sep 16th 2009 4:35PM ***what I imagine the Alliance will experience while I'm wearing the new headset***

They will weep at the at the sight of my sword ripping into the supple flesh of the throats of their comrades. I will litter the battlegrounds with their corpses, and their tears will fall like rain, mingling with the blood and the earth to feed the worms below. And I will laugh. My voice will ring out across the battlegroup, the crystal clarity of my derision adding insult to devastating injury, and all enemies will quake with fear.

WoW Insider Interview: You Play or We Pay part 2 {WoW}

Jan 16th 2009 3:24PM NOT insurance. NOT investment. Just money wasted. its easy.

let's describe it this way:

you: it's raining, i hate when it rains

me: oh yeah? well, what if I told you that every time it rains, I'd pay you some money.

you: oh wow, tell me more!

me: well, all you have to do is pay me $10 a month, and if it rains, I'll pay you a part of that 10$ back.

you: wait...you mean you have $0, and I have $10. I give you my $10. and if it rains, you give me how much?

me: a percentage of my $10.

you: you mean my $10.

me: don't you hate the rain? you need to be compensated. let's show god we won't stand for our sunny days to be interrupted!

~don't do it. your friends will laugh at you.

Breakfast topic: Forgive and forget? {WoW}

Dec 19th 2008 11:14AM Given the size and complexity of this expansion and all the background coordination that allows this game to run under the load it carries, Blizzard's performance was near flawless. I can't think of another example of something this size launching under such tremendous stress and performing as well.

Blizz is among few software developers of any type that go above and beyond for customer service.

WoW Insider interviews 38 Studios' Brett Close about Azeroth Advisor {WoW}

Oct 10th 2008 11:49AM I've been using this since they announced it was free, and I've found it to be useful in leveling my mage. It's nice to get focused information on the areas I'm questing in and the talents I'll be receiving next level, stuff like that. There have been a few bugs here and there, but for the most part its an interesting and useful service. It sometimes saves me from having to remember what it was I wanted to research before going to do X, which is a time saver, and often brings up things I may not have considered. This is definitely a better tool for leveling players, esp if they are leveling an unfamiliar class.

New Player's Guide: Class Psychology {WoW}

Jul 16th 2008 4:11PM Hey, these people get paid to write, and WoWInsider attempts to portray itself as a professional source of information. The subject of the information is irrelevant, quality should always be a priority if you want to be considered professional.

I've noticed the quality of posts going down lately, due to both sloppy writing and inadequate editing. It makes a difference to people who care about quality, and the quality of the writing has a direct effect on the perception of the quality of the information being conveyed.

Do a better job, WoWInsider.
