Nov 8th 2011 1:14PM # . If you took a second to talk to me you'd realize I do everything in good humor. #
# Phob got "insulted" just as well as "Timothy" or "dayna" but both of them always new I was kidding and loved having them there. #
# i believe in the concept of tough love. #

Oh look, it's a "magical intent" again.

Hey, Eddie, so it's OK for me to kick you in the balls if I say "it was only a joke" afterwards? And it's OK kick you in the balls again if I do it "in good humor" and say "I believe in tough love"?

Go read this:
(though I doubt you are willing to learn anything)

PS: your spelling is terrible.

Leader short stories continue with Varian Wrynn: Blood of Our Fathers {WoW}

Oct 14th 2011 11:15AM wow_ladies (LiveJournal community) had a discussion about this short story. This comment from sodzilla sums up my thoughts exactly:

"I would say it's extremely crappy. [..]

It's not just the purple prose, the random point of view shifts, or the fact that the writer has Anduin literally "cast the power word: Shield".

It's that the novel clearly takes place after the events of Wolfheart yet mostly ignores the character development in there.

It's that Benedictus holds a thinly veiled Twilight propaganda speech before the population of Stormwind and noone gets it.

It's that Varian and Anduin are both led into the city cemetery by Benedictus, and there attacked by assassins in broad daylight, and Varian nearly dies, and no one sees them, and no one realizes what Benedictus is up to.

It's that Jaina Proudmoore, ruler of one of the Alliance nations, has to smile and make nice with the minor Stormwind noble and son of a known traitor who touches her and breathes alcohol fumes on her and speculates on whether she fucks orcs or tauren in front of the court. Because Azeroth can't afford more pointless conflict. And that means a ruler has to take sexualized shit from a court flunky.

Don't read this story. Don't let anyone you like read this story. It's stupid, stupid, fucking stupid shit. "

Blizzard introduces tradable "Guardian Cub" companion pet, purchasable through the Blizzard Store {WoW}

Oct 10th 2011 6:05PM I'm not surprised.

When Blizzard announced that there would be an official gold-to-money (well, items-to-money) conversion in Diablo 3, it was only a matter of time before they implemented the same for WoW.

"We chose to go with the subscription-based model instead of that approach. We've taken the approach that we want players to feel like it's a level playing field once they're in WoW. Outside resources don't play into it -- no gold buying, etc. We take a hard line stance against it. What you get out of microtransactions is kind of the same thing and I think our player base would feel betrayed by it. I think that's something else you have to decide on up-front instead of implementing later.
