Dec 28th 2009 11:01AM Pretty Please! Pick this poor little Paladin from Uldaman! I have bought soooo many cards trying to find this one! (nicest sweet little girl grin)
Nov 24th 2009 11:57AM Please send one to me.
Sep 14th 2009 11:32AM I love that I learn new things every single day in this game regardless of the fact that I have played since before TBC. I love being a mentor and friend to people who are learning the game, helping them figure it all out and finding the beauty that I see. It's fascinating and exciting and frustrating all at the same time. I also love the little touches like the artistic detail and the holidays and things that the game holds that make it more than just a "game".
Jul 5th 2009 11:48AM Yeah, I have been helping a friend with this and once a day, I go into Dire Maul with him and he puts up a port to wherever I want to go and I drop him a mailbox. Works well.
Jun 6th 2009 1:03PM My toons are always memorials for someone I know who died, some format of their name or has part of their name in it. In WoW death is not usually permanent so a fitting memorial.
I always do the quest in Muldore for the lost dog in memory of that little boy who had Cancer even if the toon is NOT tauren, and so far all my toons that are 70 or higher, hit 70 killing boars in the exact same area of Shadow Moon Valley. The first two just ended up that way so I kept up the tradition.
Jun 4th 2009 10:27AM I will be driving along and see some plant or flower along the highway that just does not blend in with the others and I will want to go pick it......herbalist in game! LOL
Aug 18th 2008 1:20PM I had a discussion recently with my supervisor who is aware that I play WoW and of my role as a co-GL of a casual raiding guild. We discussed that at a conference she recently went to about internet-based customer service, that people who are MMO gamers are better at multitasking, handling online conversation and are better at the communication where you can't see eye contact or body language. There have also been some academic research published about MMO's and management education.
I think that ultimately, you have to know the company you are interviewing with. Some companies would value that experience, other's won't. Interview and Resume websites often suggest that you "learn about your potential employer" so you should have a good idea of whether or not your WoW Guild Leader experience would be of benefit or even would be considered a skill for the potential employer to understand and monopolize on by hiring you.
Jul 30th 2008 5:15PM My Summer has been busy as a new co-GL of my guild and getting into more serious raiding. Funny this contest should show up...my other co-GL linked one of the Winter Veil quests she still had in her quest log last night....LMAO.
Jul 18th 2008 2:34PM I didn't do this interview to gain recruits. I did it because I enjoy the game. However, we did get many new recruits to Savage Maidens because of it, and I am greatful to everyone to coming our way and also to all of my fellow players on Uldaman who whispered me about this. Uldaman rocks!
