Sep 2nd 2010 8:56AM Half-Life 1, all levels after you get captured until the end. Turning the game into a jump&run half way through wtf. :(
Sep 1st 2010 2:15PM It's so ugly I'm glad it's always in the shadow.
Aug 27th 2010 3:05PM Just fighting the trash in the throne room was one of my most intense PvE experiences ever as healer, close after Teron Gorefiend in WoW.
Aug 21st 2010 9:04AM When I was a kid a few decades ago, my mother would refer to any activity at the computer as "playing with the computer", even if I was doing school homework or learning a programming language.
But if you are logged in WoW and interacting with the game world then you are indeed playing the game, there is really no way around that simple fact.
Aug 21st 2010 8:08AM Your husband is right. :P
The only thing I personally would not consider playing is if you are only chatting.
Aug 20th 2010 10:16AM If the ingame feedback and bug tool would not be bugged I'm sure they would receive more constructive feedback.
When going to the forums with the intend to report a bug or give feedback, I do a search first before posting and in 99% of the cases the same was posted already, so I refrain from posting. In the cases I have unique feedback on something I don't want to post on the forums either, as I am not interested other players opinions or even trolling attempts.
Mar 2nd 2010 7:07PM "Technically, we all can use them. Frozen orbs are directly convertable into some better cash items."
If this would be the new definition of need, everything would be need and there would be no point to roll greed or pass on anything anymore.
Dec 22nd 2009 12:51PM My eyes and ears bleed. How can I ever unsee and unhear this :(.
Dec 16th 2009 12:09PM There are a lot of abbreviations that are fine, and most of them were established well before the development of the 2nd generation MMOs, like EQ2 and WoW even started.
From personal experience some of those are: lol, rofl, brb, gtg, inc, add, thx, rdy
What I do not like are things like: u, cu, yw, ty, m8, idd. And mixing numbers and letters and leet speak in general, unless it is used to make fun of it, just makes me disregard what the offender might have to say.
I was very surprised, when coming to WoW from EQ2, that the general player base seemed to be extremely jaded by the use of "lol": I guess that's because it is so extremely overused by the particular large number of immature players in WoW?
