Feb 21st 2009 5:53PM so the more haste, the faster you cast. but your dps will take a blow from you dedicating all your gear to haste. correct? so really, its a question of "do you want to throw out oodles weaker spells at a fast rate, or a few ultra strong spells at a slower rate?" the deal with haste/spell power is quality over quantity. if you want quantity, stack up on the haste. if you quality, stack up your spell power. correct me if im wrong

mages get hit with the nerf mallet so often BECAUSE they are so squishy, it doesnt matter if they're squishy if they can wipe out everything. high damage = no squishyness. (this is coming from a mages point of view) and as of taking 3 people to take down a decent druid, my mage loves to pwn druid in world pvp. AOE's are your best friend when it comes to dealing with a cat running around in circles :)

If warlocks were able to drain a shard without having to kill the mob, it would make spells that require shards more available and desirable to use, but it would also make the class OP. If you could whenever you wanted to, just drain a shard from a random mob, then use that shard to blow off a rediculious OP spell (that youve probably got from QQing so much) to finish the mob, that would make the warlock grind so much easier, and like it isnt really easy already? it would make warlocks more desirable for groups, but really? are you kidding? thats just my 2 cents on the topic of warlocks getting the drain buff.
If warlocks can drain shards without killing, then mages should be able to tele without runes.

Analysis of Druid changes in 3.1 {WoW}

Feb 5th 2009 5:51PM alright, so i just started playing a resto druid (lvl 47). and i love the fact that as of 3.1 we can cast thorns in tree form, just one question: if i were to cast thorns on a boss, would there be any negative consequences, such as stealing aggro, or something? cuz as far as i can tell, thorns in tree form seems like a good healer form of cc? and as well: if resto druids can use thorns in tree form, would that make resto druids more desirable for groups as that the group would recieve extra CC?
