Sep 14th 2008 3:40AM TotT is more or less another buff to dagger rogues, which Blizz has pushed alot of in the expansion.

Every rogue WANTS to open with a huge ambush crit but you know it will pull and result with you on the floor.

As mentioned in a few of the above post, hunters do possess several awesome groups utilities and nearly equal dps. Plus you're ranged which makes life alot easier.

This is really the first group utility the rogue has ever received which brings up some really interesting questions how the game could be changing.

Any and all arena points will be reset when the expansion is released.

You still assume that the three current OP classes will still be OP. This is just plain silly.

I love how people already generate massive QQ about how powerful DK's will be.

Sep 8th 2008 8:56PM Video games tend to be lumped into one giant category. When gamers talk about a game requiring "skill" they generally either mean REACTION TIME (think FPS) or PLANNING (RTS or RPG).While there's generally a reaction component in all games the act of planning and coordinating is more impotent for a MMORPG than say Halo.

That being said, do games like WoW create critical thinkers or do critical thinkers have a chance to be drawn to the game? I'd like to see a study that shows something along those lines.

Sep 8th 2008 8:32PM YOU ARE NOT PREPARED

No really, I guess they aren't.

Anyone else not losing sleep over this one? The final raid bosses will come in time. You know it took the wind out of a lot of guild's sails when KJ went down and the game was "over". I'm willing to bet they're losing more people to general disinterest in WoW then they are to AoC/Warhammer fans.

Study: Playing WoW makes you a better surgeon {WoW}

Aug 19th 2008 10:40AM I think they're trying to tell us that playing wow makes you a better critical thinker. I would say they got it reversed, you are a critical thinker therefore you are much more likely to be attracted to a giant complicated numbers game.

Of course, this study does nothing to show the outrageous number of idiots that wow also contains.

Breakfast Topic: What profession will you be going for in Wrath? {WoW}

Aug 19th 2008 10:30AM As my paladin becomes more and more my main and my rogue turns into a farmer/pvp'er I thank I got a plan worked out.

Pally stays Enchanting/Blacksmithing, I haven't declared what BS spec I am yet and the armorsmith meta gem socket looks pretty rediculous, maybe they'll add some worthwhile patterns as well. I got a thing for ring enchants even though most professions are getting some sort of self-only buff.

Rogue stays mining/skinning to farm mats/do dailies/make money. Passive bonuses are always nice.

I will probably make a DK and level it immediately, but I won't jump headfirst into proffessions until I'm much closer to 80, have a good idea which professions are worth it, and the market for lowbie mats is stable again. As it stands, I was going to go tailor/enchanter on the DK just to level enchanting easier but the tailoring bonus enchants made that even more tempting. Guess I'm waiting to see what becomes "OP" before my DK decides.

And as a side note, I never choose proffs based on crafted gear. It's almost always easily replaced.

Aug 18th 2008 11:47AM "Right now Murder Spree is bugged and does... well, nothing. (It does have a puff of smoke animation like you're vanishing, but those extra attacks don't happen.)"

Aww man, Blizz was kind enough to give us a second vanish. Rogues are used to seeing a puff of smoke followed by nothing.

I kid really, just wanted to say that before the cries of OP come in.
