Dec 10th 2011 2:45PM This screenshot is right after Deathwing is summoned in the Madness of Deathwing encounter. On both sides of the four aspects' platforms, there are two very high cliffs. Point your hunter's Eagle Eye ability or your shaman's Far Sight ability at the tip of the cliff and turn the camera around. This will give you a nice view of the entire Maelstrom area.
Both of these abilities have unlimited range, so you can even point it to cliffs on the other side of the Maelstrom and see Deathwing's back side as well. Eagle Eye and Far Sight are only usable outdoor, so this is the perfect environment.
Dec 10th 2011 12:20PM You can still get the achievement by dying in the Spine of Deathwing and Madness of Deathwing encounters.
Nov 25th 2011 9:27AM It's somewhat perplexing that Ferocious Inspiration did not make the initial cut. On the other hand, Marksmanship and Survival will keep their raidwide buffs.
Apr 5th 2011 12:10AM Thanks for doing this, Shade. I would be honored if my somewhat hunter-focused blog 35 Yards Out could be added to the list. I've had something from there featured on WI a few years back.
Mar 31st 2011 9:27AM If haste only affected hunters, that could be an interesting solution. However, because haste affects everyone, I can see why it's such a complex statistic. For example, compare hunters and a caster class, say mages. Hunter auto shots now function on a layer different from our special shots. On the other hand, there is no such thing as a mage auto attacking with his/her wand that is on a secondary level to the mage's special attacks. From my point of view, it's the current mechanic of auto shots that has made haste such a complicated statistic for hunters because single-lineup shooting no longer exists.
