Oct 21st 2011 2:44PM Except that... Tyrael never had a horse... because HE has wings ya know.
Feb 10th 2011 4:44PM The reason Volatile Life prices have gone up, in spite of respawn rates that appear to have tripled, is because they added new Alchemist Stones. Each one requires 50 Volatile Life to make and there are no doubt tons of people replacing a trinket.
Oct 15th 2010 8:18AM Personally, I'd like to see another ranged physical damage dealer. Perhaps a hybrid melee-ranged dps class that doesn't use pets. Trees should be Utility, ranged specialization or melee specialization. Melee specialization would have ranged tools on long cooldowns and abilities to close the gap. Ranged specialization would still have good melee abilities, but on long cooldowns with strong ranged damage and tools to open the gap.
Jul 7th 2010 7:42PM From the looks of what Ghostcrawler said today SPriests could see Shadowform as early as level 20 come Cataclysm.
Feb 11th 2010 8:04AM "Hopefully this will address some of the lag issues players have been reporting since the extended maintenance on Tuesday"
I certainly hope so... tanking heroics has been a pain in the butt since then. I had a healer get 1 shotted last night during a boss transition because it took my taunt about 6 seconds to land. :(
Jan 25th 2010 1:20PM They need to be careful with this... Tanks are still in short supply because it's a thankless job. There is also less chance for advancement for them than DPS or healers because, while you need 1 tank in every 5 man, the tank-to-dps/healer ratio is lower in raids.
If they decide to lower the threat on conc then they will need to lower the cooldown on judgements... especially at low level where you've got nothing else to hold aggro. (Remember white hits don't get bonus threat.)
Dec 9th 2009 9:16AM What core philosophical principals has Blizzard created for the Alliance in game?
Honor and Glory?
Victory or Death?
The Alliance is just another Lord of the Rings standard fantasy replica and no more explanation is given for their group philosophy in lore other than the fact that they exist.
They lack pride because Blizzard didn't put much in the lore for them to be proud of...
Dec 8th 2009 5:01PM Because there a conditions that exist in live that cannot be simulated with 100% accuracy in a test environment. The most notable of which is server loads: 5 or 6 million players trying to login during the same 30 minute window.
Given the obvious complexity of Blizzard's environment, the fact that it involves hefty clients that run across a PUBLIC (meaning not managed by Blizzard) network. I am amazed their down times for major system architectural changes aren't much longer than they are.
