Insider Trader: Highlights of Wrath crafting part one {WoW}

Dec 6th 2008 9:02AM lets face it, you don't need to craft any frost resist gear for naxx and to suggest that it is a necessity is misleading.

pally frost resist aura is really all you need, and it's pretty easy with just mark of the wild.

other than that a decent read

Wrath of the Lich King beta quietly ends {WoW}

Nov 4th 2008 4:15AM What drivel is this, whinging about no end event for a beta....make yourself sound like a sissy with no life.

3.0.2 Patch Notes [Updated x2] {WoW}

Oct 14th 2008 7:41AM Yep as others have said these are out of date so take them with a pinch of salt.

Avenger's Shield is instant cast, not 0.5s

Blizzard leaning toward AE Tanking for all {WoW}

Sep 29th 2008 11:56AM Blessing of Sanctuary = mana back from block/dodge/parry (i.e. no need for high int pool).
One tosses a heal out with changes to pushback mechanics, and in a 5 man I could easily see a tankadin healing himself somewhat; i.e. you could take a ret/spriest/boomkin who could chuck out a few heals on you when needed too.

Completely viable.

Encrypted Text: Assassination in Wrath {WoW}

Aug 14th 2008 4:34AM As other's have said, the changes that have trickled through for rogues in wrath when compared with other classes haven't exactly excited me.

Sure we have a few new cool additions, but many of them feel like party tricks, especially from the raiding point of view.

I hope it doesn't stay like this and we get new abilities that make us drool as other classes are but aside from additions to PvP it just doesn't feel like its going to happen.

Not to mention as a few other commenters have pointed out the sheer randomness of some talent placements. 2 talents in the sub tree requiring 35 & 45 points spent but daggers to be used yet with the remaining points you'll barely get any further into the assassination tree than you currently can, so whats the use?

Not really excited about any of the rogue changes aside from gimmicks, and surely I should be?

Aug 14th 2008 4:14AM Methinks the author hasn't raided/played rogue for a while...

And yeah the Turn the Tables talent looks like it will proc quite frequently, 6% off every block/dodge/parry is more than enough, especially in a raid with 3 or 4 tanks.
