Cataclysm Beta: Login screen music {WoW}

Aug 14th 2010 8:55AM By the Titans... I thought the Wrath opening music was good!
This theme music is what created the Maelstrom.

Jul 7th 2010 4:30AM I still can't get over how weird it is to have someone flying over terrain I've only ever been able to run / ride over.

For Gnomeregan! Your thoughts on the Midsummer Fire Festival {WoW}

For Gnomeregan! Your thoughts on the Midsummer Fire Festival {WoW}

Jul 4th 2010 10:23PM At first I thought it was a bit hard, you know? Because I'm still pretty young. I've yet to even get to the Light's Hope Chapel and I haven't completed the training and jobs that the Cathedral tasked me to with. I'm studying hard, trying to fully realise the nuances of the Light and of Faith and then this festival arrived.
And there's a social expectation to go around and honour the flames. I didn't understand that. I mean, we have the Light to guide and provide succour. Why did we need something so... so... ancient to give us hope? And don't get me started on desecrating the Horde's flames! Every time I stamped one out I was immediately set upon by peoples who a few seconds ago were suspicious of me but welcoming nonetheless. It was a sight to behold, these celebrants suddenly becoming enraged and screaming for my blood.
But after a while I started learning. Wherever I went, races came together to celebrate something pure, something real. The fire was not the outmoded object of pagan faith that I had thought it to be. These people believed in the Light, and saw the Light in the Flame. And they had such faith that simply stamping out a fire brought their choler to the front. In this I understood how powerful Faith can be, but how frail it can be too.

I'm sorry. I'm not much of a storyteller. This won't stand in the annals of our mighty Church. But I've found that since it's important to me, that makes all the difference in the world.

- Iain, Priest of the Cathedral of Light

The Queue: A bunny! {WoW}

May 28th 2010 9:50PM Do you think any of the normal beasts in Azeroth will be come extinct? Will we lose certain looks? For example, thousand needles will be flooded. Are the cats in there a unique look that will be drowned and go away forever? Because if hunters want a unique pet, you can't get much more unique than the last surviving subspecies from before the Cataclysm.

Around Azeroth: A world of pure imagination {WoW}

May 12th 2010 10:10AM What?? I find the proto drakes to be one of the more beautiful flying mounts in the game.
Especially when mine sniffs the air and looks the other way and grins. It's so freaking adorable!

Breakfast Topic: I suck at playing mage {WoW}

Apr 25th 2010 8:48PM In vanilla my gnome mage was lvl 46 max.
In BC he made it to lvl 61
In Wrath he finally made it to 80 and got conquest gear.

I always despaired that he'd be the character that never made it to end game. I rerolled a warrior in vanilla and became the guild's MT and that was good. I've tried all the classes in the game and there are three that I just can't level.
Rogue - I get bored of it by lvl 15 for some reason.
Warlock - Ditto, only around lvl 25
Priest - Oh, how many times I die with this class to the Redridge Orcs!

Scattered Shots: Frostheim faux interviews Ghostcrawler {WoW}

Apr 22nd 2010 10:15PM Ghostcrawler promised me a grape?!
Oh man, that's brilliant XD

Breakfast Topic: Sorry, not happening! {WoW}

Apr 18th 2010 9:17AM I used to play on a pvp server but I started a new character on pve after endless hours of being ganked in STV.
And I have a macro saying exactly that. "I don't duel" :)
