Why is Blizzard still OK with gender inequality in World of Warcraft? {WoW}

Apr 3rd 2012 5:32PM @pinteresque
in response to your points
1. I looked it up. I agree with you that there are more ways to handle armor, like toggle options that drakkenfyre mentioned. I support that.

2. Blizz doesn't have a "habit" of it. It is their game and how we look is entirely their doing. Way beyond habit.

3. Just off the top of my head, the cobalt armor from crafting covers women up, at least it covers my human female warrior; head to toe. And next, you really ought not bring up armor being "believable" if that is what you're after. After all, this is a game where priests with bathrobes on can survive a knife to the back, and a bear with no visible armor other than some scraggly fur can withstand teeth and claws of a dragon the size of a building. Now try to imagine what we would all look like if we all wore armor that could "believably" protect us from anything.

4. oink oink /snort

Apr 3rd 2012 4:12PM ya so my mom plays wow and she wanted to look pretty so she transmogged all her gear to the revealing kind. this is coming from my 63 y/o mom!
guys want to be cool and girls want to look pretty. there are plenty of armor choices in wow that are very cover-uppy, why not just mog one of those?
I don't want a women's lib movement in fantasy rpg armor design.
feel free to downrate this because I'm a chauvinistic pig

Ghostcrawler explains spec-specific quest rewards in MoP {WoW}

Mar 29th 2012 10:49PM aw crud, cloth sells for the least amount at vendor. I loved being able to choose a nice big plate chest to sell when I didn't care for any of the rewards. no more cha ching for me.

Know Your Lore: The hour of the king {WoW}

Mar 29th 2012 1:00AM remember when wrynn first showed up in stormwind after being absent since vanilla wow? it was in wrath launch, and he wielded 2 swords. that is clearly a fury warrior.
but now he is seen with only 1 sword, which would be an arms warrior.

I remember somewhere that fury is supposed to "feel" like a raging berserker barbarian and that arms is supposed to "feel" like a soldier.

could this be blizzard's subtle way of letting us see a transition from his Lo'gosh days to a more disciplinary role? just thought I'd put that out there..

(and speaking of "discipline," ...would you say that anduin's spec could be ....disc priest!? ...continuing to cleanse the rage from the wrynn dynasty)

The OverAchiever: 3 things that should be achievements but aren't {WoW}

Mar 17th 2012 5:32PM there should have been a FOS for earning loremaster before the nerf in cata.
they awarded a FOS for scepter of the shifting sands, but not for loremaster, which took considerably more effort to attain.

One gear set for PvE and PvP in Mists of Pandaria? {WoW}

Mar 8th 2012 12:49AM proposed idea: deflate the ilvl of pvp gear in pve context and vice

"aw man what gives, I had a 403 chest in pve but now in arathi basin it is a 390. guess I have to get pvp gear after all"

The Queue: Live, from Hollywood, it's the Fox Van Allen show {WoW}

Mar 5th 2012 2:17AM I had never seen or heard of that girl you are with until just now watching the video.
I just do not think I could do your job mr. van allen. I would not be able to do a "vlog" without just wanting to make out with her over and over.

if I had to do it instead of you, my vlog with her would go terribly wrong and desperate like this:
"ya so anyways...world of warcraft.........let's make out!"

and quite honestly I have no clue what you said. something about a mimosa. but I really just want to make out with her.

I'm kinda pathetic huh.
