Aug 31st 2009 7:47PM Grammar Naziism: I believe when you said "shinest" toward the end of the first paragraph, you meant "shiniest."
@Colestove Personally, I like to blame Wrath on Activision. Whole expansion's been rubbish as far as I'm concerned, and I don't particularly like Activision, so on goes the blame.
Aug 18th 2009 11:40PM I also have the HS-1200, and I love it. The only thing that has put me off by it is that the plastic thing on the left side popped off a couple weeks after I bought the thing. I was in Ulduar, about to do Thorim when it just popped off and the ear cup fell off.
I ghetto-rigged it with tape, and it's been fine since; it just bothers me that the headset I payed $120 for is so fragile. This new headset looks a bit more sturdy.
I need to figure out why all my headsets keep breaking, though; maybe I have an abnormally large head...
Jul 23rd 2009 10:42AM This is some pretty hardcore nitpicking, but:
It's not 'Ask a Bastard', it's 'Ask a Basterd' with an e.
Jul 12th 2009 12:24AM The person in my raid that was stuck at authentication just got back in.
Jul 7th 2009 12:25PM I tried to read through all of the comments before posting this one in case someone had mentioned this already, but if I missed it, I'm sorry for beating a dead horse.
If Blizzard did destroy the Old World in some way or another, what would ever happen to places in the Old World that Blizzard has said they would revisit like current-day Hyjal and Uldum? Uldum in particular pretty much *can't* be destroyed because it continues on with the Titan story-line.
Also, at the WWI Q&A Panel, someone said, "Uldum is a dungeon that a lot of players want to see and it was on the list for Northrend. There's still a lot in the old world that they have plans for, but they don't want them all to be launched in one expansion."
If they destroy the Old World, I don't see it happening any time soon.
May 20th 2009 8:16PM I think it odd that you left out the reason that I myself switched to a Battle.Net account:
You have to have a Battle.Net account to opt-in to the Starcraft II beta.
May 17th 2009 4:46PM I find it ironic that you made this post almost exactly a day after my post, http://www.bacclor.com/blog/?p=1368, went up. In my audio post, I was having the exact same problem, only it was the healing leader, rather than the raid leader, that was giving me crap.
May 7th 2009 4:59PM I run a ton of addons, so when WoWMatrix came out, I was all over that. It never worked very well for me, though; there were a lot of addons that it would update incorrectly if at all. Then, when Curse's client came out, I tried it out, and I never could get it to recognize my WoW client in the first place.
Hopefully this client will work for me.
Also, the being able to run it on Linux part is really cool. I switched over to Linux a short time ago, and I found out what a pain it is to get things to work in Linux. So, anything supported natively is cool by me.
Apr 27th 2009 5:44PM I've gotten many friends into WoW over the years, and they ask some of the dumbest questions. Eventually, I'm just like the guy at the end of the video: "Ughhh... You suck..." "Figure it out on your own. I'm gonna go play Call of Duty."
Apr 22nd 2009 5:07PM "Import/export to/from Wowhead, MMO-Champion, and official Blizzard talent calculators."
Now, I knew about Wowhead and the official WoW site, but does it really do MMO-Champion? I don't believe mine does; is that something new, or am I missing something? It works with WoWDB (Curse's wowhead wannabe) as well, according to the Curse page, but I've never used that function.
I've been using Talented for over a year, now, and I love it. Since daul specs have come out, though, I've found it kind of a pain. It takes a few clicks to switch specs, as opposed to Blizzard's button right on the calculator. However, with this talent reset, I'me glad I did keep it.
