Nov 19th 2011 4:59PM Hunter's also don't have a dedicated faction, unless you count Nessingwary and co as a 'faction.' And it's kind of a stretch to say all warriors are soldiers. In fact it's hard to imagine how a fury warrior who uses abilities like reckless would even fit in a disciplined rank-and-file military unit.

Oct 3rd 2011 5:57PM Ummmm, no. He did more then earn an achievement the others hadn't. He went online and essentially told all his friends and family why he thought the guild was so terrible and was ready to leave. Given that he was probably still on shakey terms from the whole coming back a year after he left the guild on unfriendly terms. Could they have been more diplomatic and worked things out with him? Probably, but then again considering how he seemed to choose publically shaming them over talking to an officer directy, I guess one good turn deserves another.

First off, the term facebook stalking is really overused these days. If you post something on your facebook page, all your friends see it in thier news feed. Chances are the officer was just scrolling through his feed and the post caught his eye. That's different from constantly checking the page of an individual person you're too much of a creeper to talk to in real life or whatever the dictionary definition of that is.
Second, "it's not the job of the officers to Unless it's said on guild chat, it's not the job of any officer to police their guildies' speech -- not even on the official forums." There is so much wrong there. For one, they weren't trying to police his speach. They saw this guy badmouthing the guild in public, after they let him back in despite leaving on bad terms a year ago and asked "Why are we putting up with him again?"
Also, even if they had, depending on how they went about doing it they still wouldn't be wrong. I was helping recruit for my 25 man guild awhile ago and I gotta tell you, a guild lives or dies on it's reputation, and not just it's wowprogress rep. If you have people crying about so and so ninja'ing from BH or whatshisfuts getting into a flamewar or trolling the forums, it needs to be dealt with quickly. Sometimes that involves talking to whatshisfuts and getting him to be a little bit more thoughtfull of how he represents himself (and the guild) online. Is that policing what he says? Probably, but it's better then him making everyone in the guild look like an ass for assosiating with him.
Aug 25th 2011 1:29PM Screw that, I want the deathknight GREEN starter set! or at least the hood. Something about a huge armored guy with a hood on seems so bad ass.
Aug 11th 2011 8:27PM As will I, but I will begrudgingly applaud Blizzard for working us all into a frenzy over Stormwind getting a few new intergalatic immigrants.
Aug 11th 2011 4:57PM I doubt it'll be fully cross server though, it's WAY too easy to abuse. My mind is already dreaming of buying ore on one server, sending them through the void to another and selling it for twice the price. Maybe a bank for all your toons on A server, that would still be pretty awesome.

Aug 2nd 2011 5:17AM Alot of the arguements I see for Venoxis are based on the idea of taking their abilities, lining them up in Column A and Column B and essentially running a simulation. Yes, if there was a crazy bug in the game, and suddenly the NPC version of Lord Godfrey fought the NPC version of Venoxis, they would spend the whole time in melee range of each other trading blows, Godfrey would probably randomly cycle through his abilities, and Venoxis would pop toxic link and end it all.
Once you start going beyond that though, and start questioning in lore terms, The Undead Gilnean who brought Sylvanas to her knees vs the Troll priest who embodies the spirit of a Snake god, things get dicey. I'm willing to grant that the powr given to him by Hethiss will probably make Venoxis physically stronger, but Godfrey didn't get to where he is by throwing his weight around. If he didn't step into the arena knowing exactly how to deal with all of Venoxis little poison effects (which can all be summed up with don't stand in green) he'd probably figure it out pretty quick. You could argue that Venoxis is somewhat smart too, but there's no reason to suggest that he's above average intelligence, and it'd be a huge stretch to say he'd put as much thought into planning as Godfrey would.
Also, since Godfrey fights using pistols, he wouldn't be rushing up to go toe to toe with him. Most of the fight Godfrey would keep his distance firing cursed bulets and other shots when he can, so Toxic Link and breath of Hethiss wouldn't be too much of a factor, other then maybe giving him time to summon ghouls/unload a few rounds while Venoxis casts. All this of course would just be untill Venoxis throws Bloodvenom at him, and then collpases from exhaustion. Godfrey then would use a pistol barrage to finish off the troll.
TLDR version, Godfrey's at least as smart as the average pug and knows how to play his class; he can beat Venoxis.
