Patch 3.2.2 changes for Shamans {WoW}

Sep 24th 2009 12:24AM How stupid are you people? Especially the writer of the article. Sap is a CC, if the rogue attacks you, it breaks Sap. The Rogue can't chew you apart while sapped you moron. Frozen refers to Freezing Trap, another CC. If you are frozen, it breaks as soon as the player attacks. Cyclone, you can't take damage at ALL while cycloned.

Maybe the reason you do so poorly against other classes in PvP is because you have no F'ing clue what their abilities are or do.

A critical examination of Garrosh Hellscream {WoW}

Sep 21st 2009 9:23PM People seem to forget, Thrall wasn't using the majority of his abilities during that fight, he was holding back. Garrosh would NOT have won in a fight with Thrall. The people saying "OMG, Garrosh was WINNING!" weren't really watching that fight.

[Updated] Realm Status: All realms to be online by 10:30pm EDT {WoW}

Sep 1st 2009 7:07PM rofl, I broke out the Fallout 3 for the first time in months today to kill time. Been having a blast.

Mighty Battle: Rogue and Shaman Tier 9 sets {WoW}

Jul 23rd 2009 7:46PM Exactly. Every Shaman I know has said the same thing. They look very very little like Cataclysm shoulders IMO. My description was it was like someone was given a pair of Earthfury Pauldrons and told to make a new pair of shoulders with them. And all they did was trim a little off the edge so the underpads showed through and added spikes.

Jul 19th 2009 8:23PM Either strip the mp5 from mail gear and roll a talent that converts another stat (Int perhaps) to regen into one of the deep resto talents, or roll a talent that converts mp5 to spellpower into one of the deep elemental talents. Regardless, itemize the gear better, it is terrible.

Jul 19th 2009 8:13PM Frankly, I'm not impressed with his Enhancement knowledge either, I think he is a resto who dabbles.

Jul 19th 2009 8:11PM I distinctly remember my plate being taken away in early early beta. I've never had a problem with losing plate, only in losing the ability to tank. Of the three "hybrid" classes, we are the only one unable to perform all three roles. We're no more hybrid than warriors or priests.

Jul 12th 2009 5:18PM I find the change to the ES/WS a great buff. Maybe not as resto, but as Enhance it is awesome, and for Elemental it is decent. ES is in our main rotation as Enh, having to hold off knowing you will need to interrupt drops DPS. Being able to work our full DPS rotation without losing out on our interrupt ability, I'm thrilled. You losing your near useless contribution to DPS by interrupting with ES as resto is made up for exponentially by the Enhance and Ele's who can now interrupt without disrupting their rotations, thanks. And yes, I find myself on interrupt duty quite often.

Though I think you are a bit confused about the change to begin with because the changes you proposed are actually similar albeit a downgrade from the change they made. Wind shock no longer shares a CD with your other shocks. It is completely independent from them, and is off the GCD (as it always has been, maybe if you knew what your spells did, you might be able to find more use for them IMO).

Great change for Shaman. Know your class and spells before you "rant" about changes.

Patch 3.2: Argent Coliseum 5-man story and encounters, Pt. 3 {WoW}

Jul 6th 2009 1:48PM The fight was never finished, and Thrall was holding back. Hell, Thrall hadn't even tossed a heal yet! When pressed, there is still only one who could challenge Thrall and that is Saurfang. And that will never happen because they are too close.

Officers' Quarters: Managing your lockouts {WoW}

Jul 6th 2009 11:20AM From reports I've seen from the PTR, I was under the same impression, that you can turn off the reset at any time. This would allow guilds to basically make the raid reset be a day that much better suits their schedule. If it causes you to lose the full week, I think the feature would barely ever get used. I know when the first news was broke, everyone in y guild unanimously thought it was a terrible idea if that was the case. When reports were that you could reset and pick up immediately with a fresh ID, people warmed up to it a bit.
