Jul 20th 2010 9:49AM I RP. I just RP myself as a lightning bolt flinging killing machine. Much like I wish my real life was.
Dec 7th 2009 5:02PM San Andreas was my favorite entry in the series, and I found GTA IV to be a disappointment. I think they need to drop the B.S. realism, and give me back base jumping and jet packs. Also, the car physics in GTA IV are annoying.
Mostly though, what hurts the game is a distinct lack of jetpacks, bmx bikes, and dual wielding machine guns.
I actually liked Saints Row 2 better than GTA IV.
Nov 20th 2008 9:29AM I managed to hit 300 on herbalism last night on my DK, and my inscription is about 230.
I've been playing him as an alt from my paladin main, and made the conscious choice that I wouldn't go into outland until I could get the herbs there.
It seems foolish that I have to go pick daisys for 8 hours prior to hitting up any actual quests, but It's better than having to go back to all the areas and do it at level 80.

Gogo Polar Bears!
Sep 18th 2008 9:21AM They aren't actually crashing. They just have 4 servers that are 100% full with queue times because 90% of the guilds chose to roll on the same servers.
It's actually been remarkably stable so far. I had a few Crashes to the Desktop on day 1 of the headstart, but yesterday I played for like 4-5 hours on one of the full servers with no DCs or crashes.
Sep 9th 2008 11:59PM I need to hit 80 fast or I can't raid. If I can't raid I may as well not play since it's by far my favorite aspect of the game.
After the initial race to 80 (where I will try to stay ahead of the leveling curve) I'll either come back to one of my other 70s or roll a DK if my guild doesn't already have a ton of them.
Pre-wrath I've been leveling a ton of alts and may actually switch mains when Wrath comes out. It'll be to a toon that's already 70 though if I do.
Sep 5th 2008 10:31AM I want a 70 of every class by the time Wrath hits.
So far I have 5 70s and 3 more at 60 or higher so I think it's possible. Particularly if they nerf 60-70 xp with the new content patch.
This goal is sort of ridiculous and unlikely to do much for me, but my guild is sort of stalled out on progression and my lock is pretty much as set up as he's gonna be for raiding.
Aug 18th 2008 11:24AM I don't think you guys really understand the issue.
I'm not going to complain about it too mightily, but I just hit 60 with a friend in the RAF program in like 1day 10 hours played. We just had a 70 run us through quests / instances the whole time, and it worked great.
However, I didn't make enough money to buy a mount or all my skills, let alone the skills for the 30 "gifted" levels to my level 40ish priest and mage.
I have a bunch of 70s, so it's not a huge issue, but I can honestly say the RAF program has already cost me hundreds of gold off my main account, just for skill training.
I can really see how you would run into problems if you didn't have a 70 backing you.
Although getting gathering professions and using them as you go along will completely destroy the whole advantage of leveling at 300% speed, it's probably your best option.
As a hunter, I suppose you could just keep your level 12 skills till 60, and it won't make a huge difference. Just make sure you train "mend pet".
Aug 15th 2008 1:03PM Who uses a pet? I have a lock main and a mage alt and I've found them to be very close.
This is primarily because once you start getting gear, the only really viable PVE build is 0/21/40 demonic sacrifice / destro. It's not like you really even use dots, just curse of elements and SB,SB,SB,SB,SB,SB lifetapping as necessary.
Raiding mages are pretty much the same, with CC that is better in most circumstances.
Plus, Lock pets are a far cry from hunter pets. Even while leveling up, drain tanking and using the pet as nothing more than a mana battery (gogo dark pact!) is the most efficient method.
Aug 7th 2008 10:42AM Gnomer is the worst instance in the game. If you run it with a group that is actually level appropriate, it can take HOURS and countless wipes.
It remains my most hated instance ever.
At least it could before they retooled the lower level instances.
