Oct 2nd 2011 3:59PM I have a friend who I am trying to get into the game. I recommended he try the trial account. The problem is, the race he is most excited about is Worgen and he can only play that if he buys all the expansions. He is hesitant to level a race he isn't that excited about up to 20, and then after he decides to buy the game re-roll as a Worgen. I don't want him to spend all that money, though, if it turns out the game isn't for him. Any advice?

Mar 17th 2009 12:08PM It's possible he just meant that you need to make it soulbound immediately (by equipping it) and then you could switch back to your enchanted/gemmed gear.
Mar 16th 2009 9:23AM If there must be a decision about who is in the core raid group for Ulduar and who isn't, what other system would you use? I would much rather have the GM base it on performance than seniority or who his best buddies are. Rather than elitist, it seems like a transparent system where no one's feelings will be hurt.
Feb 13th 2009 11:23AM To the good warlocks who replied above, please remember that not everyone is like you. I've had plenty of warlocks in pugs who life tap out of combat to full mana and then just stand there. I've tried not healing them at all after that, and they apparently don't care. So I've come up with a new policy, if a warlock indicates that they don't care about their health bar, I won't care about it either.

Nov 8th 2008 8:20AM memzer, while what you say is true, just remember that if Greater heal and Flash heal were as efficient as HL and FoL there would be no reason to bring a paladin since that is all they have. The same is true with the other healing classes. So as Matt2233 said, if they want to avoid the jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none effect they need to introduce a new specialization that is different from the hybrid healers specializations.
Oct 25th 2008 2:07PM The mana issue is most definitely what I'm worried about. It's tough to balance because they don't want us to never have to worry about mana, but at the same time with our tiny mana pools if we do have to worry about mana we will run out very quickly.

Oct 15th 2008 11:26PM I just want to say that I kill almost every non-elite mob in just two hits as ret. This is more fun than I've ever had healing and I like healing more than most people.
