Blizzard acknowledges TOR's impact on WoW {Massively}

Mar 20th 2012 11:06PM So Blizzard thinks people are playing TOR because they are waiting for Pandas? Seriously? Sheesh, they are more out of touch than I originally thought.

BioWare: There is another (free TOR weekend trial) {Massively}

Mar 20th 2012 11:03PM Seems odd to have another freebie weekend so soon. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the ME3 backlash....

In PR terms this is known as a "faux olive branch", give customers something that will (hopefully) appease and/or distract them from an issue the company is unable or unwilling to fix. It's very possible that some people have cancelled TOR subs protesting the ME3 ending.

The Soapbox: The inevitable Mass Effect MMO {Massively}

Mar 14th 2012 9:28AM Yes because they lied about the end. Casey Hudson said that we would get a satisfying ending, he lied. Mac Walters, lead writer, said our choices would culminated in ME3, he lied our choices were meaningless. The end left so many plot holes, WTF moments AND at the end you get a pop up window asking you to buy future DLC. SO yes, the last 10 mins of ME3 ruined the entire trilogy.

The Soapbox: The inevitable Mass Effect MMO {Massively}

Mar 13th 2012 11:09PM Sorry but unless they fix the ending to ME3 I surely won't be buying or having anything to do with a ME MMO. At the very least I'm done with Mass Effect as a whole, at worst I'm done with Bioware.

WRUP: I've been waiting two years to do this edition {Massively}

Mar 10th 2012 10:58PM ME3 is great until The Ending. It's so ... bad... that there is actually an online petition going to get it changed and the forums are flooded with overwhelming negative posts about it. Even Megacritic user reviews are mostly negative for the main reason of The Ending. Bioware really fumbled on this, hopefully they will do an "Ending Redo DLC" or something.

BioWare: Average SWTOR play session tops four hours {Massively}

Feb 26th 2012 11:08PM @(Unverified) So you're guild beat all 8 class storylines, all 40 companion quest lines, every flashpoint, every hardmode AND every operation in six weeks?

Sure you did....

BioWare: Average SWTOR play session tops four hours {Massively}

Feb 26th 2012 11:07PM @TwistedComplex That's true of most MMO's nowadays. You can't have high average playtimes AND have people bailing, that wouldn't make sense. SWTOR is a success, people need to just stop hating and deal with it.

BioWare: Average SWTOR play session tops four hours {Massively}

Feb 26th 2012 11:05PM @(Unverified) From the amount of subs and people playing, they didn't move to another game. Of course, IF that were true it isn't WoW obviously as they are still bleeding last I heard.

New Star Wars: The Old Republic video celebrates a successful launch {Massively}

Feb 26th 2012 11:01PM @majorfalcon00 Well this video shows that they got passed the first major hurdle, The Launch. It's got off without any server crashes and doesn't have that "still in beta" feel that some mmos have when they first start out.

Blizzard tells Diablo III fans to lower their expectations {Massively}

Feb 22nd 2012 10:57PM What idiot tells the public to NOT get excited over one of their upcoming product releases? This surely doesn't bode well for D3, if you have someone telling you to lower your expectations before it's even out. They've had 12 years to get this game done and NOW they're telling us to not expect much from it?

Whew, good thing I'll be playing Torchlight 2 instead. That dev team seems to have confidence in their title.
