GM in our ulduar raid! My warrior was getting a talent respec because of bugs and he said the famous words "is there anything else that I can help you with?" XD Yes, yes there is!
Dec 7th 2008 10:51AM Blizzard probably won't ban actual players.
Think of it like this, some players on private servers own retail version, but not all of those people.
Blizzard cannot ban people from private servers, however, taking them to court and stuff could have the private server shut down blah blah but they cannot use the admin controls of the admins on those private servers and ban the players on it.
If Bliz took a server to court and won, and that server got shut down then people who don't own retail will either
a. Be wowless
b. Spend the money for retail (more money for bliz).
People who also have retail will just not go on private servers,
but will simply stick to retail. Why would Bliz ban those people from retail? They're just losing money that way and gaining nothing from it. Those people wouldn't go to private servers because they wouldn't be about anymore.
In short, getting rid of private servers gains more money for Blizz!

Oct 31st 2008 6:34PM I am not a tank, however I do play a Mage and I must say I find this just as annoying. I was PuGing MgT heroic the other day with another mage (I have T4/crafting gear, he had T6) and I must say that when he was doing Blast wave it not only made the tank's job harder, but everybody else's.
When trying to explain to him about that he called me a noob and it's really nice to find somebody else who agrees with me.
The tank's job is one of, if not the hardest job in an instance and anything that makes that more difficult is not acceptable. Hopefully in Wrath this will help clear the herd in terms of mages who like to do this as they simply won't be invited into groups and raids and people like me (deep fire and knows how to use it in pve) will get invited even more.
Thank you Allison Robert!
Jul 30th 2008 5:21PM Blizzard simply don't want you to go around exploring Northrend instantly and they want you to take every piece of content of the place chunk by chunk.
There will be NO cost for flying mounts in Northrend, it'll be a quest at level 77 or something which will give you the ability to fly in Northrend and some gold for completing the quest (The quest is likely to be one you'll have to use a mount of some form in).
Blizzard wouldn't make us pay out again, they panicked when they realised that we'd be skipping Northrend by flying over it to see Dalaran so this is their way of stopping us, they won't charge us! Trust me. It doesn't make sense
