The Queue: I still ... {WoW}

Sep 1st 2010 3:15AM On the Worgen character build screen, do we have any control over the Human appearance? Is there some correlation between Worgen and Human features? Maybe similar to correlation between druid hair/fur coloring and feral skins?

WoW Moviewatch: Emerald Dream {WoW}

Apr 12th 2010 1:56PM Nice job capturing the artistic essence of the emerald dream. Entertaining. Well done. Good musical arrangement. It all coalesced.

Spiritual Guidance: The professional priest {WoW}

Apr 1st 2010 11:05AM I gotta’ disagree with the assessment that tailoring doesn’t make money. It may be true that tailoring doesn’t make much money while skilling it up, but once you can make the specialty cloths required to craft the best gear in the game . . . well, they sell very nicely. Even the BC era cloth makes money. It takes a long time to sell, but eventually will sell for several times the amount of money you spend making it. Spellthreads also become lucrative as soon as you can make the level 50 versions.

WoW Moviewatch: Do Ya Think I'm Sexy? {WoW}

Mar 24th 2010 11:14AM You know why N Trance did a remake of Rod Stewart's song? Because it's awesome. It's a catchy tune, the lyrics are fun and well crafted. N Trance did it justice with an updated remake. He didn't just sing the song, he put his own rap spin on it that captured the essence of original. And Severance has done the same translating it into a WoW based video. If you dismiss all Belf-rap as bad simply by virtue of being Belf-rap, you'll really miss out passing this one up.

Unfortunately, the link here on the site seems to be glitchy. I'd like to send my friends here to see it, but it won't start up.

The Queue: Officially on notice {WoW}

Mar 12th 2010 12:12PM Agreed. Just from the perspective of the cat trying to stand behind the dude and shred his freakin' a**.

I mean, sure there are times when it may help the group as a whole . . . like when there are many adds (HoR chase, Black Knight phase 2) or individuals singled out for a whuppin' (Brohnjam, Black Knight phase 3) as others have mentioned. So I wouldn't kick or support kick someone for using it appropriately.

But I still hate it.

Shifting Perspectives: Are DoTs worth it? Part 2 {WoW}

Feb 28th 2010 1:06AM Nice theory crafting. In practice, there is always time to cast the DoTs, such as when moving. In practice, you take into account gear bonuses that depend on them, like idol & set bonuses and you find time to make sure they're cast.

The Queue: An unrelated Q {WoW}

Feb 25th 2010 1:04PM I can't even begin to count how many times I ran BRD between level 50ish and heading to Outland. If it consistently gives the satchel of helpful goods now then something was fixed. I had runs which finished in each of the following ways:

(1) Emperor dead, princess alive, no satchel
(2) Emperor dead, princess alive, satchel
(3) Emperor dead, princess dead, no satchel
(4) Emperor dead, princess dead, satchel

i.e. there appeared to be no correlation at all between leaving the princess alive and getting the satchel.
