Feb 4th 2010 6:00PM I was at Blizzcon '08 and '09, I found him very funny in both. Yes he mocked the audience but he lamented himself as well. The place was roaring with laughter.
I would also add that at Blizzcon '08 I came third in the /silly. I met him on stage twice and no way did he breath smell of anything then so I see no reason why he would be at '09. Like earlier poster said, its nerves!
I'm glad he doing Blizzcon '10, I hope I get to be there to see him :)
Ps. at least he says things Blizzard wish he wouldn't sometimes, his unpredictability is his greatest talent (point).
Jan 2nd 2010 5:45PM Happy new year everyone!
Dec 28th 2009 7:29AM Happy holidays everybody! :)
Dec 7th 2009 9:59AM Thanks Krugeroff and Expo. I already have irfanview installed. I opened the same screenshot in Irfanview next to the standard windows picture preview. The colour depth in Irfanview is much higher and looks as I expected it to. Of course in the past when my guild has wanted screenshots etc I have been opening them in the windows viewer and editing them to try to fix the darkness without much success. Now I know I don't need to do that! needless to say Irfanview is now my default picture viewer! Thank you peeps, achievments for you all :)
Dec 7th 2009 9:32AM Thanks Perderedeus for the tip. I am using a ATI 4870x2, I play all games in non window mode and they run at the same resolution as my desktop of 1920x1200. I quickly searched for how to adjust the gamma on my card but didn't find anything. I know in game I can adjust gamma but it looks fine in the game, its only when I screenshot and look at the results in windows explorer it looks poor.
Dec 7th 2009 9:18AM Can anyone tell me what would cause my screenshots to be darker than my actual in game view? I find this across all games I play, the screenshots come out looking like they have less contrast and colour. This has been bugging me for ages, any help would be very welcome please!
Nov 17th 2009 8:00AM Excellent post thank you for being so detailed :)
No fault of the article but I am confused about the conflagarate glyph. Will it still give the benefit of not removing the immolate DOT when conflagarate is used?
Nov 16th 2009 11:57AM As a non TCg player who has never touched Magic, I found the TCG game to be quite difficult to get into. Almost all the people that offered to teach me the basics would offer the insight, "this would be so much easier if you played Magic". However I don't mind that so much as I can understand their point of view.
However what the game does have is fantastic art work. I own 500+ cards, none of which are used in a deck. I just like the imagery. I have the making of book and the limited edition prints as well. What I most enjoy though are the wall papers using the TCG art.
I don't however have the image pictured and would really like it. Does anyone know the name of the card pictured and if its available as a wallpaper? :D
Jul 3rd 2009 7:30AM Warlocks have always been my favourite class and continue to do as provide the ranged dps I've always enjoyed along with good solo abilities (thanks to the pet) and little down time (thanks to life tap). Having played a hunter in beta and a mage (3+ years ago) I rolled a 'lock and looked back since.
Why am I telling you this? Well because from this article I believe the Warlock class still has the best to come :) I am intrigued to know what the new soul shard mechanic will be (I don't actually mind the current one, it really helps we can get multiple shards from one target).
I'd love to see Green fire (for same reasons as everyone stated before me) so hoping that happens sooner rather than later.
As for naming pets, I don't think we should be able to. It's hard for me to explain why but I just think it makes them less like subjective minions forced to do the will of their warlock masters and more like a friendly relationship. A warlock and its pet is like a pact of convience not a friendly nuturing relationship like hunters.
Warlock flying mounts - YES PLEASE! Love the idea of the demon form/wings sprouting. You guys remember the T5 set with the wings that spread from the helm? maybe Warlocks could have something that does similiar to any chest peice and is usable for flight (unlike the T5 which was for visuals only).
Looking very much forward to Blizzcon now and deffo won't be missing the class panel! :)
