Balancing crowd control {WoW}
Feb 18th 2008 8:23PM CC Like healing is fairly overpowered in PVP. I just finished an AV where I was guarding a tower, get feared... trinket out. Get feared again DW out, soon as it poofs get feared again, BR out of it... go back in get feared a 4th time, ridiculous.
Thank god I did get caught in battle stance. Woulda been hosed after the second fear.

Kojima wants a "PS3 with controls like the Wii" {Joystiq}
Jun 30th 2006 8:00PM "Wii is nice and all but it's not going to have the horsepower to compete directly."
The thing to remember is the mass market for these machines could care less about internal specs, and most have no idea how to understand them anyways.
My nephew is a die hard gamer, but if I tried to explain to him the diference between Wii's Hollywood chip and the PS3's his head would explode. :P
A good example of this is the Sega Master system, It was much more powerful then the NES yet never caught on. Same can be said for systems such as the 3DO, CD-I, TGFX-16, Sega CD etc. Spec wise they was all excellent systems compared to the "mainstream" machines that was out at the time. But none ever really caught on.
When MOST people buy a system they check the price, how the games look and game titles that appeal to them. Wii games look good, should be inovative to play and will have a price point about $400 LESS then the PS3. And has a large library of GC games at value prices that are classics.
Wii is going to be the top selling system, followed by the 360 and lastly the PS3. Sony's days ontop are over....
