Ghostcrawler on the philosophy behind the Mists of Pandaria talent trees {WoW}

Dec 8th 2011 1:33PM "As I have said a million times, good games (maybe good anything) can't be designed by popular vote. Our design feedback process is about making informed decisions. The developers will make the decisions we feel are right for the game, but we'll do that armed with the feedback from players about what is fun and not fun for them."

That line gives me NGE Flashbacks.

The Daily Grind: Will Pandaren lure you back to WoW? {Massively}

Oct 24th 2011 8:35AM No, I'm afraid the Kung-Fu-Panda expansion will not be bringing me back to Wow.

If SWTOR is a complete failure (Which I don't expect), I think i'll be staying out of WoW for a while.

The Daily Grind: Could you do a better job running your guild? {Massively}

Oct 19th 2011 8:12AM Yes..

First I would start by having 9 raids a month.
Then I would make sure I started all of the Raids at 9 O'clock promptly.
And to maintain raider status, I would make sure that the guild member maintained 90% attendance..

It's my 9/9/90 plan. I think it'll work.

The Queue: There is a ret column coming, I promise {WoW}

Aug 31st 2011 1:19PM Honestly, the game belongs to Blizz. If they want to incorporate Homosexual relationships, more power to them. If not, that's cool too. We're all playing in their yard now.

In my opinion, I don't think Blizzard cares one bit about the Homosexual/Heterosexual issue. They want your money.

They're not taking a hard stance because if they said "Hey, okay, we allow gay marriage in the game" it will stir up all kinds of controversy and run off the Heterosexual fundamentalists. Likewise if they said "Hey, we don't allow that kind of gay activity in our game" It has the possibility of running off the homosexual community.

Blizzard wants that 15 bucks a month from Gays and Straights. It all spends the same.

On a side note, Is it just me or does WoWInsider post a lot of topics on this issue? I guess it builds drama and brings on viewers and hits for their advertisers.

The Daily Grind: What was the best change made to your favorite MMO? {Massively}

Aug 25th 2011 11:47AM @KDolo

I still think the NGE would qualify in the Worst change ever made to an MMO.

As for the Best, I'd say Dual Specs in Wow and the Dungeon Finder.

The Queue: Super-Soldier-sized edition {WoW}

Jul 22nd 2011 3:56PM Q for the Queue.

Today I pre-ordered SWTOR and expect that I'll be giving up WoW to play it . I am a huge fan of WoWinsider and check it multiple times daily . Is there a website similar in format to Wowinsider for SWTOR that you know of?

(P.S. Even if I quit wow. I can't quit you wowinsider. =P )

Breakfast Topic: What class should a brand new player pick? {WoW}

Jul 15th 2011 10:05AM

Don't feed the trolls. :)

Breakfast Topic: What WoW character would you like to have coffee with? {WoW}

Jul 14th 2011 9:23AM Kael'thas

Why? Because decaf is merely a setback.

Breakfast Topic: Male or female? {WoW}

Jul 1st 2011 12:04PM I agree with you here on this one, I pick based on the aesthetics of the class. Some classes just look better as a male or female and that's what I roll with.

Look better as Males: Tauren, Orc, Dwarf, Troll,

Look better as Females: Space-goat, Gnome, Night Elf, Undead, Human

Can go either way: Blood elf, Night Elf, Worgen, Goblin.

For the ones that can go either way, I try to consider class. I'm more likely to make a Female caster, and a Male Melee as I don't like to see a woman get beat up but I don't always stick to this rule (Male Worgen Shadowpriest looks nice, and BE females make good paladins).

Major Exception being If I forsee myself Raiding at any time with one of the toons, I prefer to stick to males. Just so I'm not called a "She" in vent.
