Jan 7th 2011 1:33PM Where I live in England, the general consensus is that if you're playing anything other than COD & FIFA (yes, even things like Halo or Assassin's Creed are scorned), you're an un-salvageable nerd with no hope and should be mocked at every opportunity.
So I've never mentioned I play WoW to -anyone- I know, and I don't know anyone within a 100 mile radius to me who plays it.
Jan 3rd 2011 10:41PM Actually, the Azshara skyline at night always used to freak me out for one simple reason.
It's almost identical to the sky on the 3rd night in Majora's Mask. And I don't think even the giant Bilgewater Harbour cannon can stop an Angry Moon drop...

YOUR SIMPLE MIND CANNOT GRASP WHAT IS TRANSPIRING. YOU WILL SERVE ME AND THEN DIE PAINFULLY.

The reason you're not seeing NPCs is because they're phased. Halfway through Silverpine (as Horde) you get sent on a little commando mission in Gilneas to retrieve a corpse for Forsakenification, while the main Forsaken line is utterly destroyed by Worgen guerrillas and the 7th Legion, pulling back to a defensive line in Silverpine.
Nov 30th 2010 9:51PM Ain't played beta, but I'm pretty sure where that is.
So I was doing the Silverpine quests on my main two days ago, and of course at around 30/60 quests done you get sent into the Ruins of Gilneas. Since I was surprised to be here, I went for an explore. The southwest portion of the zone is underwater, with a few roofs and rocks sticking out and lots of debris. Comparing the Gilneas map with ones on Wowpedia, when you start a Worgen the area is actually above water at the beginning - a combination of Forsaken bombardment and the Cataclysm sinks it over the course of the first few quests. The place is called Duskhaven.
It is NOT Gilneas City itself.
Nov 16th 2010 10:24AM This wretched pig dares stand against the might of the Horde?! IT SHALL PAY IN FLESH AND BLOOD!
Nov 6th 2010 2:09PM Saw this on Kotaku the other day, and my first thought then was;
It'll be redundant in a month... but in style!
