Ammo stacks in 1000, sells in 200 {WoW}

Mar 16th 2009 4:51PM Complaining about having to buy multiple blocks of arrows to fill a stack is just QQing for the sake of QQing. Other players already deal with the game selling "incomplete" stacks for things such as alchemy vials and spell reagents.

WoW Rookie: Hear, hear for tier gear {WoW}

Mar 12th 2009 9:53AM I don't ever remember calling Dungeon 3 the Tier 3.5 set. In fact, there were 2 types of D3 armor that we always differentiated by calling one Dungeon 3 and the other Dungeon 3.5.

The differences were easy to spot:

Dungeon 3 always came from normal instances, and had very class specific set bonuses.

Dungeon 3.5 had some drops from normal instances, some from heroic, but the set bonuses were generic.

Ready Check: Guide to Naxxramas (Thaddius) {WoW}

Jan 23rd 2009 11:42AM Compared to 10 man, 25 man Thaddius has so much HP and such a short enrage timer that if you have people screwing up, either by missing the jump or dying from having the wrong charge, it's easy to hit his enrage timer.

The Queue: Archdruids? Nahh. Okay, maybe. {WoW}

Jan 16th 2009 4:04PM Daily quests are set for the entire server. So if your friend gets Convention at the Legerdemain, so will you.

The Queue: Archdruids? Nahh. Okay, maybe. {WoW}

Jan 16th 2009 4:02PM Who is going to roll a Warrior when they can roll a Death Knight? Without knowing the specifics of what an Archdruid could or could not do, how can you say that they will immediately be preferred over Druids? They'll probably be preferred just because they are the new hot thing, not because they immediately usurp an existing class.

Do you care about PvP anymore? {WoW}

Dec 16th 2008 1:27PM I've never been a big fan of PVP in any respect. I did do arenas to get some fill-in gear, and I've done the same with BGs, especially for the PVP trinkets for certain PVE fights.

However, I love Wintergrasp. It's a fun zone, and the vehicular combat is great. I guess it helps that I totally dig the music there too. So antithetical to the purpose of the zone.

The Queue: Finding treasure where there's no treasure to be found {WoW}

Nov 24th 2008 11:22AM You can level to 400 on the green recipes, I believe.

Officers' Quarters: Three questions for Wrath raiders {WoW}

Nov 10th 2008 5:06PM I was underwhelmed at how much I knew of the DK class after finishing the starter area on the beta. You get so many abilities by the time you're finished, but unlike 1-70/80 levelling you don't get a whole lot of time to play around with them. That's what 58-80 is for, I believe.

Regardless, with DKs starting at 58 (for all intents and purposes) and Outland being a quick jaunt now, they'll likely be able to participate with most guilds assuming the guild is just lights out fast in getting to Naxx and beyond.

Breakfast topic: Boast your titles {WoW}

Nov 6th 2008 9:37AM Yeah, I got Jenkins the first day of 3.0, and after 2 or 3 days switched back to my old title (Champion of the Naaru). The uniqueness of it went away with everyone going after it. Since then I've gotten Hand of A'dal (yay for holding on to old quests) and Ambassador. Working on Guardian of Cenarius (7k rep or so to go) and the Azeroth parts of Loremaster. Nearly done EK with Tranquillen not done, and about 150 for Kalimdor.

Breakfast Topic: Unexpected Changes in Patch 3.0.2 {WoW}

Oct 15th 2008 9:24AM The gathering boosts (mining w/ +stam, skinning w/ +crit, herbing w/ the HOT) have been in the LK beta for a while, so while the patch notes may have overlooked their inclusion, they weren't really sprung on people.
