Aug 17th 2009 9:01AM I wouldn't revamp anything. I'd make new content. New content, as in content besides a new boss and gear.
Aug 11th 2009 9:27PM You want too much. How about instead of bothering Blizzard about something that really doesn't matter, we just let them do their job...and hopefully do something for the game apart from adding crappy, recycled end game content. They spend so much time nerfing, buffing, and adjusting, listening to everyone and their sisters whine on the forums about one class or another. Leave the classes alone. God. let's add some cool content to the game instead so we'll enjoy it more. How about guild keeps? People have been whining about that since the dawn of Azeroth, and Blizzard hasn't even drawn up a sketch! They are too busy with "cry, cry, cry, I don't know how to play my class and a Paladin killed me, that means they are OP." I really hate you all. I promise. People like you have ruined WoW, and turned it into an elitest junk fest where the game isn't fun, and all there is to do is run the latest crappy raid that Blizzard released. Either that, or grind out honor in the extremely dry BGs they have.
My points: Who gives a crap about spell plate? It's not worth Blizzard taking a month to work around, and then fifteen years to balance it out afterwards.
Work on the casual content: Even raiders will appreciate it, so it's definitely not going to waste. It might even score you more subscribers. :)
Sop worrying about balancing out the classes: It's not needed. There is always going to be one kid whining about getting killed. The classes are balanced enough. Not every class has to be within 100 total dps of each other. Every class can be used in one situation or another.
Improve guild functionality: Add more customization, guild achievements, guild keeps, guild trophies. look at some other games for inspiration. Get the guild more involved! A guild shouldn't just be a group of people with a tabard, that's pretty lame and you know it. Other MMOs probably get some of your subscribers just because they have an actual guild system. MAKE IT SOMETHING.
Play the game: It's not a job, but I swear that everyone in end game takes it that way. Well, maybe for the columnists here it is, but if you just play the game then don't force yourself to do something. I've been sticking around with Blizzard FOREVER, hoping they are going to improve, hoping they are going to stop the trend of garbage, but no...They haven't, and I'm through waiting around. Aion releases next month, and it looks promising to me. It looks like what I've wanted WoW to be. Goodbye WoW, you may have already got a few hundred bucks out of me over the years, but you just lost one more formerly faithful subscriber. Don't expect to get another cent out of my wallet/bank account.
Jul 18th 2009 3:44PM Yes, Alexstrasza is down and apparently cannot retrieve my characters. It has been like this since I tried to log on about an hour or so ago.
Nov 9th 2008 9:52AM chances are about 1 out of 300...
Anything's possible for a ret pally!
Oct 14th 2008 9:10PM Yeah, you can't do anything due to realm problems even if your realm does happen to be online. Just logging onto the realm takes forever. Sounds like some kinks really need to be worked out.
Aug 7th 2008 7:22PM When i started Burning Crusade, i was 58 going to outland, I FLEW through levels up to 60, but once I hit 60, the grind to 61 was like twice as long. I don't think Blizz is throwing away the starting zones, unless you think you'll be leveling to 71 in less than an hour.haha
Believe me, im sure Blizz will make the grind to 80 a worth while thing. And for as not seeing everything before you hit 80, good! more stuff to do after you can't level anymore.
Things to do after hitting 80:
1.) Finish quests in northrend.
